Good day to you!

Macro Monday's theme for this week is High Key. Believe it or not, this is something I've not done before, so I was happy to give it a try!

This is a 2" bird that a friend gave me. I spent the weekend trying to make a nest out of cotton for it. That idea didn't work out so well, but you'll see a few wisps of cotton in the image.

As always, I appreciate your visits and for leaving a comment! Have a superb day and week ahead!

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a red day at Color my World Daily but I will skip the color for today since we celebrate high key pictures at Macro Monday. Dont worry next week everything should be back to our normal and colorful schedule.

I must admit, high key photography isn’t exactly my cup of tea. I love bold and vivid colors. And honestly I have a very hard time with my « old » eyes to tell if the picture is just over exposed or high key lol. And I truly tried to grasp this concept and read and watch many tutorials on Youtube… But still, high key looks very overexposed to me … Which doesn’t mean that I dont like high key pictures !! And I certainly hope you will like mine (and I truly hope that my picture falls in to the high key category and not just the burned picture category lol)!

So here is my contribution to the high key theme.

I have another awesome video meeting today so see you later my friends !! Stay well and safe !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

For Macro Monday, Aug 14

Theme: high key

I'm deeply saddened by the events over the weekend and felt the need to speak of love in a visual art form, so I combined the MM theme with the message.

Love,

Dee
