High Wycombe
St Lawrence's Church and Mausoleum (which were also constructed by Sir Francis Dashwood around the same time the caves were excavated). West Wycombe Park, ancestral seat of the Dashwood family and also a National Trust property, lies directly across the valley. The caves' striking entrance, designed as the façade of a mock gothic church and built from flint and chalk mortar, which was erected in around 1752, can be viewed directly from West Wycombe House.
We're still in National Tree week (me neither), so here are some more trees and some rocks, on the way up to Harrop Tarn above Thirlmere.

Low price with high quality! Climb Mount Fuji is okay in the UNIQLO clothes. 洋服の青山(aoyama) is mainly selling the business wear.
A tribute to structural engineering. Tensile forces held in check by minimal materials, much to admire.
Galvanised steel bar transformed to functions of a physical equation that graphs an octet of perfect catenary arcs across the valley. Beauty from purpose, with enough strength for the task, and no more.
I had a truly memorable ten days storm chasing, traveling almost 5,000 miles through nine states. Didn't quite catch a Tornado but saw lots of these amazing supercell structures like this one in Montana.
Choppy seas in Christchurch Harbour Dorset The little ferry boat passes by Mudeford Quay and the Mudeford Spit Beach Huts in the background. January 2017.
Hogg’s falls are considered one of Grey County’s best-kept secrets. The falls are secluded, camouflaged and yet easily accessible. Named after William Hogg, a first-class Cricketer, the waterfall is situated fairly close to the impressive Eugenia Falls (no good reasons to not see them both!). A lovely hike through the woods and along the river of Boyne will take you to the 7 meter tall falls that has water all year round. The trail continues across Lower Valley Road into a magnificent amphitheater surrounded the the high hills.
Best viewed large.

Well now I'm lost, dirty, smelly, bored and there isn't even beer.

Awesome is a word that's probably used too often
But that description is the only possible description for a muskox
A bull weighing in at 800+ lbs it is almost certainly the biggest land animal I'll ever photograph
This was as close as he got
Maybe a good thing?!
