I miss flickr a lot, I miss you guys. I have been so absent from flickr, and I am going to try to be more present. I also haven't paid visits to your streams nearly enough lately, so I am going to do that this summer :)
OH also I have been tagged a lot lately so here is a list of random facts about me

this evening we had fine drizzle rain ... almost foggy really ... so lights etc were rather diffused through all the moisture in the air. As I walked past the playground I noticed that the lights from the station in the distance were creating a serious glow in the distance ... I couldn't resist - I went home to fetch my camera and went back to see what I could make of it ...
Compositionally this isn't entirely what I wanted ... but I don't have a tripod yet, so I was resting my camera on bean-bag on one of the swings to try and get as much support as possible with a slightly longer exposure ...
Anyway - I was tickled by the results :-)

For those who don't know, 14th of July is kind of like the 4th July of the US, there are fireworks and everything !
That was completly CRAZY. I've never seen so many people until this night. American, Chinese, well, a LOT of people.
I'm not the kind of person saying "Hey guys my country is the best, we're the best, yayayay." And I hate people that say that. But.
Today, when we were all singing La Marseillaise, I felt really proud of my country for once. It felt good.
Anyway ! Blue White and Red are the colors of the French flag by the way. (As you can see on the middle of the Eiffel Tower.) :)

Back from a great weekend in Chicago with JeffB, Larry White, Dan Huntley, and Don Sullivan. Lots of pizza, photography, and walking. I am beat.

heyhey! i can't take care of all the b side babies i've given birth to over the last 6 months, so i'm dropping 15 güniquely curated zines of 20 or so polaroids per (some like this, some that i haven't scanned & will probably languish in boxes & bags & collect dust cus they are covering every fckn surface of my apartment)
adoption fee is $100 a pop. proceeds go to food rent & film
