Hegle is impossible to photograph because she is literally never still. Never. She is a perpetual motion machine that also doubles as a perpetual purring machine.

These next three pics, taken in 2000, are from the time Michele and I went to Los Angeles, CA for a convention and we visited Virginia while we were there.

This pic, taken at her home in Oxnard, is reminiscent of this shot from 1973. The little girl is Brianna, her granddaughter. She was 2 at the time so she would be 11 now.

Two years later, on Memorial Day weekend 2002, Virginia visited Jacksonville when her father passed away and I got to see her again although no pictures were taken. I have not seen her since although we keep in touch through e-mail.

We got Hegle some new toys today, and she absolutely loves her feather wand. Of course, she also loves her catnip wine bottle, catnip lizard, and crinkly mouse, so maybe she's just not very discerning?

The church looks derelict when this pictyure was taken in 2004.

The image on Google Streetview shows temporary fencing and building plant on site so probably desecularised and being converted to residence.

Neolithic stone structure near Culloden Battlefield, Inverness-shire. What sets them apart is their construction within a "kerb", a ring of large containing boulders.

Hegle is bonkers for her new feather wand. We thought this would allow for more photo ops, but she is a force of nature.

Old burial ground in Glen Nevis. It is on the opposite side of the river from teh road so you need either a long walk along the oposite bank from either dirction or a short walk through the river.

There are no recognisable grave markers but a number of stones as often used in these old burial ground also three or four rectangular slabs of stone - one measured at about 800MM x 300MM. There is also a short upright stone post.

In the centre there is a depression that is roughly square and about each side around six foot. There are several stones/rocks around it.

I was told that there was what sounded like an iron mortsafe there until WWII when it went away as scrap metal.

According to "Pre-1855 Gravestone Inscriptions of Lochaber and Skye" this is the ancient burial ground of the MacMartins of Letterfinlay, a sept of Clan Cameron.
