In a world where we all look for our own space, we are still drawn together for reassurance and protection but most of all someone to save our seat when we go out for a moment.
I love people photos. :-)
--for Friedrich Nietzsche
"Inasmuch as at all times, as long as there have been human beings, there have also been herds of men (clans, communities, tribes, peoples, states, churches) and always a great many people who obeyed, compared with the small number of those commanding--considering then, that nothing has been exercised and cultivated better and longer among men so far than obedience--it may fairly be assumed that the need for it is now innate . . ."

Farm Walk, Installment V. Angus youngster--I believe it's an Angus.
Nietzsche came to mind when I took this, and the quote (and on) have been on my mind lately.
First shot of my Swallow Friend next. Thanks for Viewing.

Taken as part of a "Documenting the Festival" Workshop.
Pittenweem Arts Festival takes over a small Scottish fishing village each August with almost 100 venues hosting well over 100 artists' work.
The culmination of the first Saturday's proceedings is a torchlight procession around the village followed by a fireworks display.
This is the procession coming down West Wynd.

Goats are herd animals, and goats who are bonded to humans will follow you anywhere if you just move. The only thing you need to worry about is if a person not in your party walks by--they are just as likely to follow them. Being pulled on a lead, on the other hand, is not very effective. It is fun to watch kids (the human kind) learning this from experience.
