This is the stain result about 24 hours after paste removal - other photos from this event [48 hours after past removal] show a deeper red/maroon stain.
This design was inspired by a similar-ish patter/design on the hoodie this girl was wearing. So much fun making it into henna! =)

Did loads more henna that day but forgot my camera. These few pics are from my phone! :(
A friend got engaged over the weekend; this is the henna I did for her.
She was VERY good at following aftercare instructions and got a KILLER dark stain! =) I should have taken a couple of pics w/out flash...the stain here looks red/orange, wheras in real life, it was more of a dark cherry brown.

These are the type of designs I do when hired for 'mehndi/sangeet parties' or 'group' henna events. Each hands takes about 3-5 min. or less.
This lady chose one my bridal designs for her hands ... loved getting to sit and talk with her! Such a sweet girl!
I usually get good color anyway, but I wanted to see what would happen if I actually worked at getting it, so:
- I used fresh henna made two nights before [raj/jam mix]
- Sealed with lemon-sugar
- Waited for lemon-sugar to dry, and put a shopping bag on; kept on shopping bag for 2 hours, and then took it off.
- After 8 hours, scraped off paste with hands, NO WATER.
- Warmed hands over an open fire for five minutes.
- Washed hands and went about my day.
This stain is exactly 24 hours after paste removal.

Did lots more henna here, but wasn't very diligent about taking pics.
