Last August we participated in the South First Fridays ArtWalk, a nighttime tour through galleries, museums, and independent creative businesses on San Jose, California. One street was closed for cars and converted into a street fair. This is a booth that offers hanna body designs. It was late at night, it looks like the artist is taking a break talking with a friend.
I processed a balanced, a realistic, and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

In Mytleford there is a lovely exotic shop called Red Ramia Trading ( www.redramia.com.au/) where all sorts of eclectic asian items are sold. From Giant Gorilla's playing musical instruments, ornate iIndian style wooden gates, decorative crockery Tagines in all sizes and colours etc. The list includes Japanese collectables. But there are also a number of interesting lights and lamps. This is a montage of a Henna decorated lamp plus glass lights in patterns and lanterns with intricate dark swirls.
For Mosaic Montage Monday theme of lights/lamps. Something to brighten up your day. HMMM :))

Blue Moon, you saw me standing alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own,
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for,
You heard me saying a prayer for,
Someone I could care for,
And then there suddenly appeared before me,
Someone my arms could really hold,
I heard you whisper "Darling please adore me,"
And when I looked to the moon it had turned to gold,
Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own.
Blue Moon

I just love it when my Moroccan sisters requests old school Fessi! And then wearing her amazigh clothing and jewelry makes the henna so powerfull. www.handoffatima.nl
Groom's hand has his initial n his bride's initials on his hand in Henna. And all the other pretty ladies showing off their henna work as well.
Mama Henna is an attractive way to celebrate pregnancy. I feel blessed to create my designs in this remarkable life stage of (becoming) mother....makes it even more special when the father is there to attent the henna session. During the years working as a henna artist i've met so much lovely woman from all classes, cultures and sizes.....always a pleasure to celebrate feminity in this broad gamma of diversity. www.handoffatima.nl
