I've realised that my previous watermark is very bland and unprofessional looking so I thought I'd attempt to make a new watermark which resulted in this. I'd like to get you're opinions on it please.
The Photograph is from a recent trip to Prestatyn and taken with a Canon 70D.

The days of the "tramp steamers" are long gone, but one can still find employment aboard ship. If all else fails, think about joining the U.S. Navy.

Fireworks night, sitting downstairs after getting kicked out of paid seats in the eighth inning. I know that we couldn't sit there while they were lighting explosives and fireworks but before the game even ends. This kind of crap would never happen at Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park. On top of that it was another heart-breaking loss to the Athletics. Winning run on second with a Jay Gibbons strikeout in the bottom of the ninth.
Someone please save this organization.
I'm trying to identify this shot taken in 1971. It is taken from a beach looking back at houses behind the beach. It is certainly in the UK - possibly Devon or Somerset????
Any ideas welcome...

One more reason I'm glad I wasn't around in the 30's. Women's wages ranged between $4 and $6 dollars a week while some men's were $15 a day. Rental property was about $25 a month.
I found these ads in a 1935 Minneapolis Journal newspaper (now the Star Tribune) The paper was found in the back of an old mirror in my basement.
