Could this be the Red-thighed Epeolus - Colletes marginatus form (Epeolus cruciger 'marginatus')? It was seen on 2nd July in a sandy heathland area with no heather in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Any ID help gratefully received.
The helpers from East Bernstadt roll north to meet S539 at Perth, where they will hook onto the rear of the train to shove over Crooked Hill.
"Thriller" by Michael Jackson <3 ...
"Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'awl's neighborhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse's shell
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller"

A fresh Southern Heritage Unit leads ethanol loads east under the C&NW coaling tower. A nice sucker hole of light helped with the scene.
Racing up to Scotland with another supply train for Tesco Supermarkets is the 06.16 Daventry - Mossend Euroterminal (4S43), in the hands of DRS Sheds, 66431 and 66429. The train is making good headway as it passes Rugeley Trent Valley running some 20 minutes early.
A Rugeley early-morning classic I've been after for a while so I decided to set the alarm and chance the sun. Helpfully it played ball for one of the more photogenic freight trains of the day, even if it is Shed hauled.
The coal-fired Rugeley Power Station, even in its dormant state, still dominates the scene.

Experimental ! never used the video on my D7000, don't know much about it either, worth a try ;-)). Great old track from the Beatles
I could hear the crackle of fire around the hedgerow. I could smell the smoke, I didn't like it. I coughed. My first day out of trainin was off to a bad start. We passed the hedgerow and I saw the tank. It was an American tank, looked like a medium. I don't know though, I'm not familiar with their tanks. We walked from one side to the back, inspecting the damage. The engine exploded. Then I heard a cough and a groan from the other side. I was caught off guard, I jumped a little. I gripped my rifle and peeked around the tank. It was an American tanker, probably 18, on the ground propped against the tank. He didn't look so good, his arm was covered in blood. Then he turned and looked at me and my comrad. He had a big gash on his forehead, brain exposed. I could tell that he was in pain, the look of despair in his eyes - it just got to me. I almost cried. He moved his other arm slowely. He made a motion as he wanted me to go over to him. I slowely walked to him, he whispered, "Come closer." I put my head next to his, he raises his arm, turns my head so my ear was next to his mouth. I felt the blood hit my face when he whispered. His breathing was very heavy. He said, in a faint whimper, "We may be enemies, but please, help me out."
I shook my head, "What do you need?", in my best English. He calmly said, "Kill me."
HOLA A TODOS, TENGO UNA PEQUEÑA DUDA A VER SI ES COSA MIA O QUE, PERO ME PUEDEN DECIR SI EL LIPSTICK AZUL Y AMARILLO SE VEN COMO MAS HINCHDOS EN COMPARACION CON E RESTO DE COLORES? GRACIAS POR LA AYUDA.

HELLO EVERYONE, I HAVE A LITTLE DOUBT TO SEE IF IT'S MINE OR WHAT, BUT CAN YOU TELL ME IF THE BLUE AND YELLOW LIPSTICK LOOK LIKE MORE FLATS IN COMPARISON WITH THE REST OF COLORS? THANKS FOR THE HELP.
NS 20R was the first train to travel over the Port Reading Secondary after a snow and ice storm the previous day, and it cleared snow from grade crossings along the way. An uncommon (on this part of the NS system) pair of SD40Es lead the train. 6327 has a Helperlink box on the front pilot, and these units were most likely assigned to the Altoona/Cresson helper pool.

Standing at the same location as the previous photo, but facing the opposite direction, a Union Pacific SD9043AC intrudes on what could have been a matched set of Rio Grande tunnel motors leading an MDVRO. The two lead units were helpers added to the head end for the trip up Soldier Summit and they just happen to be the same SD40T-2s that were seen shoving MDVRO in the preceding photo. The Price River is partially snow-covered on this chilly but sunny late winter day along the Provo Subdivision.

The two C424m’s that served as as helpers from Hornell are now leading the Delaware & Hudson salt train over the Genesee & Wyoming at Griegsville, New York. NOTE: My slide is labeled as being at Griegsville, but I can’t find anything that resembles this scene on Google maps. Pleae let me know if this is another location.
a night shot taken in La Oliva, Fuerteventura, Canary Island. In total 9 vertical images (exposed 8 sec each), merged as a panorama covering more or less 120 degrees of the horizon line in this place. The light pollution was awful but this time helped to light paint the image due to the clouds reflecting the light to the ground. In fact, my camera saw more than me at night. I had to use all my 3 light sources I took with me to lit up the inside of the abandoned house. Had only a mobile phone to have some light to see settings on my camera. Not easy to move around with tripped and all these bushes in a way. Definitely a must return location, hope to get a clear sky when the Milky Way is visible :)
Sending sympathy and love to those affected by the California fires.
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
Approaching dusk, the Laurel-Bozeman is tackling the pass with help from a helper set on the point of the decently-sized train.

We have 9 different species of hawks in Minnesota. A few of them look very similar to the eye of a layman.
It helps me when they have at least one very distinguishing feature, like this red-tailed hawk.

As I was shooting some negatives for my other Flickr site, (shameless plug insert here: www.flickr.com/photos/131503794@N02/), Elsie decided to sit on my lap and supervise, which is typical of all cats. Right? Anyway, I am still busy busy at work, which is why I have not posted for awhile. But will try to lurk when I get a chance. Be nice to one another. B
i've been meaning to do this idea for a while. it seems really depressing, lol. i have never overdosed and i never will, i find it terrifying.

With some lucky help from a rising moon over the horizon, this long exposure came into play with the surrounding light. If you ever have the chance to visit the California coast, it is a must do visit.
A California Historical Landmark, the city was founded, prior to the American Civil War, as a military garrison rather than a fortification. Fort Bragg is a tourist destination because of its picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean. Its population was only 7,273 at the 2010 census.

This is something me and my mate Elliot have been meaning to do for a while now and today finally got round to doing it, its basically an idea where the camera is essentially a gun that shoots developed photos from the past, this is my first attempt at a levitation photo and really wanted it to be different to some others that i had seen, a big thanks to Elliot who really helped me with the editing, please tell me what you think, thanks!
Also, please check out my other photo from earlier, thanks again, Keenan =)
This photo appeared in my local paper 'The Hinckley Times' on 10-05-12 so I was pretty pleased with that!
