Ever feel lost and totally out of place? Now imagine being a foot tall wearing a fruity-colored diaper in a big city. I found this chihuahua Tuesday in downtown Raleigh, N.C.
The Hagans hill helpers run light past the tower at Baxter. A fresh crew will get on board at Loyall to shove a waiting T722 south.
I can't help but laugh laugh laugh every time I see this picture. I gave ToeEater a bath yesterday and could not resist snapping a few pictures of her. It's so funny how every time I turn on the water she rushes over and tries to climb into the tub. This time the joke was on her. As soon as I put her in, she gave me those little puppy dog eyes and I could feel her trying to make me feel bad. Too bad, she got a bath anyway...
She's all nice and fluffy now. Not to mention she smelled like raspberries for a good 15minutes.

We just cam home with this little guy. He is an American/Boxer Bulldog mix. He is 6 weeks old and knows no fear.
I think that I like Kilter but we haven't committed to anything yet.
KCSM 4067 leads train CP 375 through the woods at South Haven and prepares to cross the Clearwater River. This location helps out for early afternoon westbounds as the tracks swing heavily to the south. We have been seeing a lot of KCS power out here, making shooting on this sub more interesting again.
Soo U30C 803 is in Helper service shoving a train up Byron Hill. Here it is approaching Byron WI. ready to cut off on the fly. May 1979.
The power we have to help ourselves is immeasurable... it's simply a matter of allowing our hands to work their magic.

"the help" .... ... yesterday Baby Jesus was born, for those who are Christians this represents an immense act of God's love for his children ... and it is to that God-Man that we often resort to asking for help .... who among us ... has never needed help ...?! .....
I photographed people I had never met before, I thank them for their sympathy and availability: I met Antonio and his girlfriend, who came to Taormina to spend the last day together, the next day Antonio will leave to go very far, unfortunately leaving his beloved, to see her again who knows when ... I met the Japanese companion of my dear friend Cesare, who flew to the sky many years ago, I knew about his companion, but I had never met her before ... I photographed a sweet Chinese girl that I met on three different occasions, each time with a little more confidence….
these are just a few minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved (confused-blurred-imprecise-undecided) ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus made during the shooting phase, deliberately lengthening the exposure times, and not as an effect created later, in retrospect, in the post phase -production.

------------------------------------------------------
According to indigenous beliefs, before doing every thing with the Earth Mother must ask permission and pray that what is going to do with the best possible advantage. Before building a road "you have to ask permission from the hills who are close." Before starting a seed "you have to ask permission to Earth" and this photo shows that before the harvest, people come to this place to pray because the crop is better than before ....
At night on a lonely country road. Fatigue. Almost an accident would have happened if had not brought this woman to stop the car and itself kneeling protectively in front of the person sitting on the ground. I call it "guardian angel"

Whilst i was taking this shot there were creepy groaning noises from the corridor at the top of the stairs which helped the mood no end.I went up ready to see what was making the noise when a rush of wind coursed through the corridor and I realised it was just the breeze groaning through the grates over the windows.
I shared a shot of the three at work a couple of days ago. This was the return trip, as they drift down Steelton Hill and back to Pokegema to wait for their next trip up the hill.
The artwork has been donated to help NoLA Rising founder ReX pay for his legal bills he's incurred from the NOPD supported GREY GHOST who turned him in to the police for 'allegedly' posting signs of hope around the City of New Orleans.

The nice thing about Holland America ships is that they have an outside Promenade on Deck 3. It gets you closer to the waterline and closer to the action!
