Today I met up with Darryl, Tyler, and Brandon at Ft. Steilacoom Park to check out the venue for the SWS bbq event. The place was awesome and huge. After we kicked it there for a while we wanted to go somewhere to take a couple of photos. I ended up mentioning this place which is now my secret place! The bokeh here is amaaazing with my Roki 85. Brandon had to leave early so he didn't get to have his Mk.2 Coupe in this alleyway, but he's getting a new setup so I'll take him here again.

I got to shoot a car today! I haven't done so in a while. I've been anxious lately to shoot something. I'm glad I was able to!
I started messing around in PS and I ended up with this. Some practice and experimentation go a long way! THIS IS NOT AN HDR by the way. It may look like it, but it's not. This was done by adjusting curves, levels and a ton of dodging/burning. I'm pretty happy with the result.

We almost ran out of gas so we tried to pull into this gas station in the middle of nowhere which happened to be closed :/ But luckily it made for a good shot haha
This is the first rolling shot I've ever taken and it happened to be of my car haha. I was taking a nap in the other car we drove to Long Beach this weekend and when I woke up, there was some pretty nice scenery and the sun had come up so I decided to just grab the camera and hang out the window. It was pretty cold and I was still only running on about 20 minutes of sleep that day but I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks to Morocco for driving my car and to Kee for driving the WRX I was shooting from!
So the sun actually came out for once, so we decided to have a BBQ and go and get some photos. Sorry for the quality, I may have had a little bit too much to drink..
The fog yesterday was quite a sight. It's been a long time since I've seen fog that thick in our area, I could't even see the buildings in the main city when I was driving to work. Anyways I took the opportunity to take some photos while it was like this. I know it's alot of white but with the snow on the ground...what you see in the photo is exactly what it looked like outside.
