Hells Gate is an abrupt narrowing of British Columbia's Fraser River, located immediately downstream of Boston Bar in the southern Fraser Canyon. The towering rock walls of the Fraser River plunge toward each other forcing the waters through a passage only 35 metres (115 ft) wide.
who is responsible??
my heart ws literally crying when i saw a dying man on the Tv screen and tht was pathetic :'(
I know, I know, this is getting old. But the place really is called Hell (meaning something else in Norwegian of course). Still think it's kinda funny.
Went for a few in Hell Below with this young man. Found it rather pleasant, and the joy of Coconut Beer.
Cleaned the head, primed and painted - gloss rather than flat as I grabbed the wrong can! Shortened the handle to get rid of bad wood - but had some small chips as I set the head - must have been a bit "not straight"!
Wedge is the original s-shaped one, I added the wood wedge to make sure things stay tight.
Boiled Linseed Oil on the handle.

Hells Canyon is a 10-mile (16 km) wide canyon located along the border of eastern Oregon and western Idaho in the United States. It is North America's deepest river gorge at 7,993 feet (2,436 m) and part of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.
The canyon was carved by the waters of the Snake River, which flows more than 1 mile (1.6 km) below the canyon's west rim on the Oregon side and 8,000 feet (2,400 m) below the peaks of Idaho's Seven Devils Mountains range to the east. Most of the area is inaccessible by road. [Wikipedia]

I saw the new Flickr group "Entrance to Hell" which brought back old, dark memories, Creepy old houses were my idea of hell..then. Flickrgroup: flickr.com/groups/entrancetohell/
Inside the ground, in the most deep caves where all is darkness and fire dwells the fearsome creature: The HELL TROLL, that eat Trolls Orcs, Goblins, Dragons and any other living creature. His breath melts the steel, its tail is like white hot steel whips, his skin is like a rock and his horns can reduced to ashes his enemies.
