Excavations carried out under Milan's basilica of Sant'Eustorgio in the 19th and mid-20th century uncovered an area that was once a cemetery in Late Antiquity. The remains of an apse were found, which may have been a martyr shrine, funerary basilica or some other type of monument. Burials and memorial inscriptions were also found nearby.
This inscription, now in 13 fragments, marked the grave of Heliodorus Macedone, who had the title "vir egregius", indicating his equestrian rank. A graffitto under the text depicts a man dressed in tunic and pallium, indicative of his eastern origins and/or his devotion to learning. He is standing in the orans position, indicating prayer. Macedone was about 70 years old when he died. The inscription was dedicated by his nephew Theocles. The inscription has been dated to between 471 and 600.

Mortals of Myth Intro Deck Journey into Nyx Unboxing Assemble a mighty army of heroic Soldiers and Warriors, and power them up with spells that unlock their potential. Your opponent will be put to the test in combat by creatures that could become gigantic at a moment's notice. The "Mortals of Myth" deck focuses on getting lots of creatures with the heroic ability on the battlefield and triggering that ability with spells with the strive mechanic, which allows you to pay extra mana to increase the number of targets the spell has. For example, you can use Ajani's Presence to give a single creature +1/+1 and indestructible, or you can wait until the late game and funnel all your mana into Ajani's Presence to give that bonus to multiple creatures. Skyspear Cavalry doesn't have a heroic ability, but flying and double strike make it well-suited to take advantage of this deck's power-pumping spells. If your opponent is putting up too much of a defense against your onslaught, you have tools at your disposal to help you push damage through. Oppressive Rays, for instance, makes it more difficult for an opposing creature to attack or block. Akroan Mastiff can lock down your opponent's best creature each turn, while Banishing Light removes a problematic permanent from the battlefield altogether. There are many other paths you can explore to power up your heroic army. Launch the Fleet is a strive spell that lets you double your number of troops at a low cost, and it's an especially efficient way to trigger heroic. If you want to really push the aggression, Fabled Hero from the Theros™ set combines the best of two worlds with heroic and double strike. "Inspiring Heroics" can lead with a quick start thanks one drops like Dryad Militant or Soldier of the Pantheon and play a beatdown role by dropping a second turn Imposing Sovereign to slow an opponent or enchanting its first turn threat with Ordeal of Thassa. While there aren't many heroic creatures in the deck, Fabled Hero and Battlewise Hoplite can shine when targeted by Dauntless Onslaught. Lavinia of the Tenth is your biggest creature, however Frontline Medic can ensure your weenies survive every time you attack. God's Willing can save one of your creatures from removal or make it unblockable in the right board state. A pair of Banisher Priest, Pacifism, and Detention Sphere are around to help deal with any troublesome creatures a rival might play. There's also a plethora of cards in the deck that can detain your adversary's permanents long enough for you to steal a victory. The deck is rather simple to play with, just drop creatures and smash face. You'll want to be careful not to overextend yourself, as "Inspiring Heroics" is quite vulnerable to mass sweepers like Anger of the Gods and Supreme Verdict. Even event decks can benefit from a few improvements, and "Inspiring Heroics" is no exception. Phalanx Leader is a powerful heroic creature that can pump all your creatures with +1/+1 counters whenever it's targeted. A Thassa, God of the Sea can improve your draws by transforming dead land into threats while Heliod, God of the Sun allows you to always have blocker by giving your creatures vigilance and allowing you to pump out a horde of creature tokens and ensure a late game victory.
