My first attempt on shooting waterfall. It was pretty challenging as I stood very near to the strong water flow when I captured this.
This waterfall is only 30-minutes drive from my house at my hometown but I have only been there twice. Something tells me that I will visit this place more often in the future.

The monastery complex of Meteora, Greece, sits thousands of feet above the ground, making it one of the most remote places to live and worship in the world.
While 30 monasteries were built over the centuries, today only six remain active.

Mosques are very common in Istanbul, but this one is unique; Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque. It has a very modern & beautiful design.
It was photographed from the center worship hall laying on my back looking straight up. While I was shooting at 12 mm, it still needed more to capture the full view, so I had to hand shoot five shots and then stitched them together.
This old chevy had lots of character with what looks like an original paint job and not to much rust! I played with the sky's darkness and textures.

on a Sunday morning!! Taken last weekend when my husband and I were coming back from Grand Lake, Colorado. We drove over the famous Trail Ridge Road and this is one of many breathtaking views! The haze is due to the wildfires in California mostly. We've had really poor air quality this Summer. It does make for some pretty sunrises and sunsets. Thank you my friends!
Towering cliffs of Wulingyuan over the Golden Whip stream trail. This scene offered the most amazing light I have ever seen, as close to a spiritual experience as I've had.
Wulingyuan (武陵源), also known as Zhanjiajie National Forest Park, is a scenic and historical site in south-central China's Hunan Province, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (from Wikipedia). It is noted for more than 3,000 quartzite sandstone pillars and peaks across most of the site, many over 200 metres (660 ft) in height.
Tis truly a spiritual feeling when one experiences Maligne Lake's Spirit Island. So serene, stunning and inspirational. Easy to see why this special scene is so revered.
