Perth

Hello everyone !

So after a long time (2 months...) that i've been waiting this package it finally arrived my Heath Ledger Joker. Now HL's Joker it's been one of my favorite characters in recent history (he and well TDK got me into DC as a matter of fact) so when i ordered this guy i was super excited to work on him and take the already fantastic TLG minifig into the next level.

And boy was i surprised i barely did a thing to this minifig, all i did literally were the shoes (painted on a dark brown with some black, accurate depending on your references) & the jacket which was fairly easy to do.

The most "dificult" part was getting the jacket color right (as ridiculous as that is) and give it that nice fur texture, other than that i did nothing and while these are very simple mods i think it improves a lot the overall look and feel of the minifig.

I hope you all like it and expect more stuff these upcoming weeks... that is if the post office deliveres my packages 😂😂

Have a Bricktacular day

Joker: If you’re good at something, never do it for free.

The Dark Knight - 1/6th scale The JOKER collectible figure

You can bet right that this shot took a long ass time to put together. But with time on my hands I was finally able to put it together. Not exactly the way I was expecting it. Of course, I wanted it to look more like how Heath Ledger played in The Dark Knight. But no one can replicate his outstanding performance from the movie. Sad to know he's gone. His act was so well done that at some parts of the movie I've forgotten how Ledger actually sounds in real life, and that it was even him playing the part. Well...for those who haven't seen the movie, watch it! It's well worth the $10. Or if you have $4 Tuesdays like where I'm from, it's worth that too! =P

P.S. For those who'd like to argue, I think he's by far played the best Joker to date. In comparison to Jack Nicholson from the previous 1989 version by Tim Burton.

OMG people. Too many favs and comments!, Thank you so much, really :D

Joker the Headknocker. Well-Sculpted product by NECA. Resembled the late actor Heath Ledger, who play the role of The Joker in the latest Batman movie, "The Dark Knight".

I finally saw the dark night today. So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do some pictures in full joker make-up.

Not only was that the best movie I've seen in awhile, but it was the best acting job I've seen too, of course by the late-great Heath Ledger.

What a fitting way to end this little series, on Batman day no less. Main thing I wanted to show off was the Joker's new coat.

Now, I am missing a couple. Mainly Catwoman and Talia, but honestly I'm not that big a fan of Dark Knight Rises, and only included Bane since I already had him made.

Scars based of the Joker from the new Dark Knight movie. They are made from theatre nose & scar wax. I've never used it before but I thought they turned out pretty good. Tips always welcome tho.

“I sat around in a hotel room in London for about a month, locked myself away, formed a little diary and experimented with voices — it was important to try to find a somewhat iconic voice and laugh. I ended up landing more in the realm of a psychopath — someone with very little to no conscience towards his acts.”

Self explanatory.

This moc is based on the 2001 medieval film A Knight's Tale

IZ MAH BIRDAH

So for those who don't know, April 4th is not only my birthday, but its also Hugo Weaving's, Eric Andre's, Heath Ledger's, and Robert Downy Jr's. That's pretty fuckin cool.

Coming Soon...

Leftover shot from the last Joker shoot.

My second ever attempt at a full fledged face of costume makeup. Keep in mind that I don't usually do this, thus I only have cheap face paints and used tissue and gluestick for the texture (oh-so professional, amiright?). It actually worked surprisingly well, though.

Last halloween, I did a Joker-meets-fashion-model type look (see here). This year, I did the Joker full force (with a bit of my own twist here and there). I have to say, this one is definitely more my style. When it comes to dressing up, who doesn't love a good amount of blood and gore, am I right?

Sad part is that I didn't even go out anywhere. I did this simply because I had time and I enjoy doing things that creep other people out. Yay for photos that will haunt your dreams! :D

With all of the interest in the tragic death of the young actor, Heath Ledger, I thought that instead of uploading a photograph to satisfy only the morbidly curious, I could find a photograph I had taken years ago that would show the neighborhood in which the actor enjoyed living.

This is Broome Street on which the actor lived. This area is on the edge of Little Italy and SoHo.

...and yes, Mr. Ledger's residence can be seen in this photograph, but I'll leave it to others to point it out.

...better on black...

This is my "selective coloring" contribution in immortalizing the man named Heath Ledger.

No one's life is perfect...There is no such "thing" as perfect...Our life depends on our willingness to "live" no matter what.

We may choose to seem happy all the time but that does not help us endure our inner pains & sufferings. In fact, it may even make it worst. But, still, we choose to "paint a smile on our face" because one awful truth in life is that
