There is a request from the Dutch foundation for heartdiseases to wear something red today, to show your solidarity with women with heartproblems. Here is my contribution.
This was Moo-Moo in better days. Just now she isn't doing very well. She's been diagnosed with HCM. the same problem that my Samson (her brother) had and died from. Moo is now on heart medication and will see the cardiologist on Tuesday. She's refusing to eat and so I've been trying to syringe feed her since Wednesday--it's tough.

So, we jumped the gun. Yesterday's Level II Ultrasound showed us the baby
isn't okay after all.
Best case scenario: he has a correctable heart condition, undergoes surgery at a young age, and leads a healthy, happy life.
Worst case scenario: he has a serious heart condition, which would require a heart transplant, and he has Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome), in which case he wouldn't be eligible for a heart transplant in the U.S.
We won't know more until Monday morning, when we meet with a pediatric
cardiologist, and the preliminary results from the amnio come back.
Our health should always be our first priority. In modern world, you will notice people running behind material wealth and neglects the real wealth- health. If you posses good health, you are able to fight with any adversity of life.

My hair's a wreck
Mascara runs
My feet get dirty
And my skin burns in the sun.
My lips they bleed
But I still sing my songs.
Takes me a minute
To admit it when I'm wrong.
Pretty is as pretty does,
But pretty's not my thing.
This is what you get.
This is who I am.
Take me now or leave me
Any way you can.
Sometimes I trip and fall
But I know where I stand.
If you're thinking bout a change in my direction,
Don't mess with imperfection.
My back is weak,
But my will is true.
Got good intentions
But I never follow through.
I say too much,
And don't know when to leave.
In case you're looking,
That's my heart there on my sleeve.
Ego trips and stupid slip ups,
I'm a mess but
This is what you get.
This is who I am.
Take me now or leave me
Any way you can.
Sometimes I trip and fall
But I know where I stand.
If you're thinking bout a change in my direction,
Don't mess with imperfection.
Scratched and bruised,
A little used,
But baby I work fine.
You might call me
Damaged goods,
But I'm one of a kind.
My hair's a wreck,
No I'm not perfect
But I'm not the only one.
This is what you get.
This is who I am.
Take me now or leave me
Any way you can.
Sometimes I trip and fall
But I know where I stand.
If you're thinking bout a change in my direction,
Don't mess with imperfection.
This is who I am.
If you're thinking bout a change my direction,
Don't mess with imperfection.

Here is the point
Where I fall apart
For the second time in a week
It could be from
All those chemicals
That I pump into me
You have been gone
For what feels like
The longest winter break
It's just three days
But its so much more
Than I can really take
I've got a girl problem
I've got a drug problem
And I don't want to solve them
They sit right where I want them
They kill my memory
They wrote this melody
And if I take enough
I won't miss you so much
Here is the part
Where I apologize
For thinking that we should
Take some time off
Because the loneliness
Would do us both some good
I soon found out
Just how miserable
I could really be
All by myself
In this haunted house
With my paranoid disease
I've got a girl problem
I've got a drug problem
And I don't want to solve them
They sit right where I want them
They kill my memory
They wrote this melody
And if I take enough
I won't miss you so much
And I will always think of you as someone that I love

We at IPC (Institute of Preventive Cardiology) Heart Care Center, Mumbai, are not against bypass surgery or coronary angioplasty per se. There are indeed cases that warrant cardiac surgeries, and we ourselves definitely make it a practice to suggest them to patients who are in immediate danger of heart attacks or cardiac arrests. However, we would like to make people who have coronary arterial blockages, their loved ones, and people in general, aware that there are effective non-surgical options available for coronary artery disease treatment, for most cases.

Normally, electrical impulses within your heart's muscle signal it to beat (contract). These impulses travel along a pathway, including a slender cluster of cardiac fibers of the heart's electrical system. One area of these fibers is called the bundle of His. This bundle divides into two branches — the right and the left bundles — one for each of your heart's two lower chambers (ventricles).
If one or both of these branch bundles become damaged — due to a heart attack, for example — this change can prevent your heart from beating normally. The heart's electrical impulses that make your heart beat may be slowed down or blocked. When this occurs, your heart's ventricles no longer contract in perfect coordination with one another.
The underlying cause for bundle branch blocks may differ depending on whether the left or right bundle branch is affected. Most cases of left bundle branch block are due to some type of heart disease. Some people with right bundle branch block do not have any other obvious heart problems.
The main complication of bundle branch block is a slow heart rate, which can sometimes require a pacemaker. A slow heart rate can occur whether the blockage is on the right or left side of your heart.
People who have a heart attack and develop a bundle branch block have a higher chance of complications, including sudden cardiac death, than do people who have heart attacks and don't develop a bundle branch block. Some people with bundle branch block after a heart attack need a temporary or permanent pacemaker.
Because bundle branch block affects the electrical activity of your heart, it can sometimes complicate the accurate diagnosis of other heart conditions, especially heart attacks, and lead to delays in proper management of those problems.
