Norway are home to beautiful scenery, but it’s also home to a dangerous stretch of coastline. The Stadhavet Sea is the most exposed and dangerous area along the coast of Norway. The people who lives out here, have always been linked to the sea, as sailors, as fishermen and as whalers. This area experiences between 45 to 106 stormy days per year. The beautiful coastal landscape is shaped by the waves, through an eternity of time.. Thanks for your visit and comments, my Flickr friends!
Sea breezes that for aeons have blown ancients rocks, you are the purest space coming from afar...(Maria Rilke)

In between capturing the waterfalls along the trails in Swallow Falls State Park and capturing some night skies in the playground, I sat back and chilled by the fire enjoying the long Labor Day Weekend ... celebrating a long hard year's of work again ... they seem to go by so fast anymore.
I also had to run a little more today on the treadmill to get rid of the S'mores I ate over the weekend ;)
Apparently a meme thing on Facebook thinks I'm a hearthbreaker. I like this hearth too much to break, though. Lucky hearth.
Our living room. Room of living. The room we live in. Living in this room. We live. Sometimes in this room.

it's getting dark very early again and though we've been having pretty nice sunny days, the evenings get chilly very quickly and we get a fire going before dinner...it's one of lifes great pleasures to be sitting around it...we collect a few branches and logs while we are walking the dog and i saw it up and that is usually good for the evening...simple pleasures are always the best...
My entry to the LEGO IDEAS "Your creations in the world-famous LEGO House" contest!
This diorama captures the architectural and décor elements of a traditional Japanese home, such as the irori (sunken hearth in the middle of the room), shoji (screen windows and panels), tatami mats, and even a small bonsai tree.
I've always been interested in Japanese culture and Japanese architecture, so that's what inspired me to build this. Hope you guys enjoy and I'd love to hear any feedback!
You can also vote for my entry at the link below! I'd really appreciate the support :)
