From my Jake. Happy New Year to everyone.

Contemplating his first year of life-- a serious moment. Jake is my one yr. old standard poodle. These are also the last moments on his 52 Weeks for Dog group-- as I am switching to take photos of my 10 yr. old Lisette, instead. Jake is mostly a happy go lucky guy- and this is a rare serious moment. Don't worry, I'll still keep taking pictures of Jake, and maybe post one a week, below my post for Lisette for the 52 Weeks group.

Candidate for 52 Weeks for Dogs-- photo of Jake of the week. All feedback welcome. I love how his ears almost float into the clouds. And there is a lovely serious sparkle and far away look in his eye.

13/52 Weeks for Dogs. My submission for the week. But see the series in the last photo in my photostream for other Poddlemotion choices. My Lisette, 10 yr. old standard poodle

14/52.5 of 2010 submission candidate: Theme: In motion. (Again other candidates in the prior photo in my photostream, and in the first comment of that photo). All feedback very welcome. I decided to submit Bundle of Play instead and the dip that follows in my photostream for the 52.5 group

Taken on our boat. Trying to isolate action- here the ears are in motion from the wind on the boat. But I used a fast shutter speed and stopped the action. Set to Tv mode I think

Aperture: f/6.3

Focal Length: 14.9 mm

I was shooting almost right into the sun here- so there is nice backlighting- -but hard to get it all to come together, without using for photoshop.

Taken 4/32/10, Uploaded 4/3/10, #3114, exposure adjusted in Photoshop, using layers and masking-- to bring up the exposure on Lisette's face, and to leave the sky its deep blue, and then picnik crop and minor exposure adjustment after upload

Lisette at the park. We had a park photoshop, looking to do more with my "Invisibility of the Homeless" series. So I was looking for photo opportunities to which I could "add" ( in photoshop) my camouflaged homeless man. More of that to follow.

Taken 4/13/10, Uploaded 4/14/10, #3578, purposely underexposed, near sunset, so as not to blow out the whites, enhanced slightly in photoshop, TSLayers, Erase.
