Do you know the story behind this bus/food cart?

I have seen people take photos of this amazing bus/food cart before, but never been able to capture the full beauty of the colors displayed. The blue stands out so much against the green backdrop. I can't say I've ever bought anything from this stand, but it is amazing. People walk by this every day and appreciate this wonderful piece of work, but do they no the story behind it and why it is there in Asia? I...

What do you love about the Walt Disney World version of the Haunted Mansion?

Welcome Foolish Mortals!I've said this one before, but out of all of the comparison attractions between Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the Haunted Mansion wins with everything except one simple thing. The building itself, I like the simplistic Disneyland version. This one here in Florida is over top better. It never goes to the Holiday overlay and there are even more...

While walking around Animal Kingdom the other night I came across this amazing spot to see the Tree Of Life, the icon of the park. It's quite majestic in it position and how it towers over everything. The river here reflected the tree so well I couldn't help but whip out my tripod and hold here for a while to get a shot of it. It's almost as though the water were a mirror or even that there was no water at all but rather another tree growing below the one we see. Animal kingdom has so many of these...

As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.

The photo was taken using the camera App PureShot for iPhone and saved as a TIFF file before any editing. The original image can be found below.

First of all I used Snapseed to edit the image. The edits were made by straightening the photo and applying the Drama 2 filter. After that I used an app called Wood Camera to edit the picture. The edits were made by applying the Aquatic 1 Texture and adding the Birds to the image. I added a little more texture to the image using the Ancient filter in HDR Art. Finally I used the App Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Stirred overlay and the Sentiment Texture.

The original photo was taken at just before lunchtime today. It is an image of The Church of St Lawrence. The Church is located on Old Church Road between the Foleshill and Bell Green area of Coventry. A church dates back on this site to the 12th century (the only Evidence of that remains is the early medieval Font). There have been various additions to the church over the years using a variety of different local materials during the rebuilds and modifications.

The church is is a Grade II* Listed building and is number 4 on my list of 24 (Grade II*) Listed buildings in Coventry that I hope to photograph.

What are your thoughts on Disney's Animal Kingdom?

When I first heard I was going to Animal Kingdom to work, I looked up the park hours to see if there was a chance to get overtime hours and work more. It turns out that this park closes frequently at 5 pm and most likely before any of the other parks. I was upset, but then realized, this gives me a chance to go take photos every day after work at any other park very easily. I love it. I can go...

What extended queue makes you want to stay in line longer?

Some of my favorite things to do is venture into the extended queue areas for the attractions. Many times, there are things that people get to enjoy if they are in line for over an hour on the more busy of days. It's sad that some of these places just collect dust (figuratively speaking of course) during slow times. This one happens to come from...

Why do think the parks at night seem to be more magical?

Out of all the parks, Animal Kingdom and EPCOT are the most friendly for me as a photographer. They are very chill about me staying around after to take a few shots. Magic Kingdom has strict rules about staying after and now that I abide by them I'm fine. But for some reason Hollywood Studios seems to give me problems. Regardless, I love the park. I...

What do you think of the show in Canada?

Every time I go to EPCOT and World Showcase, I seem to find something new. I seriously have not spent enough time in this park. I've been here for months now and I still have not been over every inch of this place. Hollywood Studios I feel the same way though. Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, I feel I know the best, but still I am learning more and more each time. And now with...

What would you like to see Glow!?

I have always loves EPCOT. There is something about the park that draws me in and makes me never want to leave. Maybe it's the many things in World Showcase or the innovation. But I know the moment I stepped foot there I was home. From day one of Digital Elegance, EPCOT has had some amazing shots come out. My first photo was...

As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.

The photo was taken using the camera App Mattebox for iPhone. The original image can be found below.

First of all I used the app Handy Photo to edit the image. The edits were made by cloning away the Guard rail near the bottom of the image as well as the newer windows and building in the background of the picture. Next I added a little more texture to the image using the Ancient filter in HDR Art. Finally I used the App Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Stirred overlay and the Lazarus Texture.

The original photo was taken early this evening in the Much Park Street area of Coventry City Centre. The image is of a mysterious Medieval Sandstone building dated to about the late 13th or early 14th century. In a strange twist of fate the building was actually discovered in the aftermath of a bomb blast during the blitz on Coventry in the Second World War. Most of the buildings in the street were destroyed but this shell of the building remained after all the other more modern buildings burned down around it. There is not a lot known about the origins of this rectangular shaped building. It is thought that it was either a Merchant's house or in some way connected to the nearby Whitefriars friary. Archaeologists found pottery from the 13th and 14th centuries when the site around the House was excavated in 1971.

The Medieval Ruin is classed as a Grade II* listed building. It is number 18 on my list of 24 (Grade II*) Listed buildings in Coventry that I hope to photograph.

As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.

The photo was taken using the camera App Huemore for iPhone. The original image can be found below.

First of all I used Snapseed to edit the image. The edits were made by sharpening the image a little then boosting the saturation, ambiance and brightness. Next I used an app called HDR Art to edit the photo. The edits were made by applying the Ancient filter to the picture to help age the image. Finally I used the App Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Egret overlay and the Whispers Texture.

The original photo was taken early this evening. It is of the Old Blue Coat School. The building was originally built and opened in 1714 as the first Charity School for girls in Coventry. The current building was opened in 1857 after been rebuilt on the same site. The site was originally part of the original St Mary's Cathedral (the first of Coventry's three Cathedrals). The evidence of this can be seen today in the cellars of the building which are actually inside one of the original pillars of the Cathedral, these date back to around 1150AD.

The building is is a Grade II* Listed building and is number 2 on my list of 24 (Grade II*) Listed buildings in Coventry.

Where in Disney World do you go to watch the sun rise?

I tried to get out last night to retake the photo of the tree that I had from the other day, but I ran out of time. So I decided to go this morning instead. I love the opportunity to just get up and go. I couldn't for the life of me get a great angle on it and I was about to give up when the sun started rise and the clouds in the background started to turn from their shades of dark blue to red on their way to...

Do you ever visit the other resorts when you visit?

This one night I was walking with some friends around Yacht and Beach after getting some ice cream and had some time before I had to get home. So I decided to look for new areas to photograph. I stepped into the Conference building between the two resorts and was taken aback by the colors and how that normal guests that come to the parks never see this. I doubt many of the guests of the resorts even see this. Those that have had some sort of conference here have been fortunate enough, but that limits the numbers that have stepped foot here. I love this place. I have a series of photos that I had to get and will be posting them all in time.

Have you ever seen this spot in Animal Kingdom?

Here I was traveling through Asia, I had just finished taking photos of the mountain range with the expedition trails and train. I started to head to Africa when I saw this quaint trail to my right. It was weird to me, it looked as though no one ever walked this way. Sure the trail was swept, but I had to know where it went. I decided to follow it...

Which park has the best play area for kids?

Many of the parks have a little area for little kids to blow off steam in a controlled area while the parents sit and relax for a bit. For Hollywood Studios, that place is the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure. Here you can bounce around on larger than life toys and explore the the backyard like never before. This shot is...

Which Resort has the best Christmas Tree?

When I went to visit the Contemporary for a Disney fan event. Well mainly the store part of it and maybe hopefully see Tony Baxter again. I had about an hour to kill before I thought I should go over and line up to get into the store (which I started the line and met some great people), so I thought I might take a couple photos of the Contemporary Resort. I walked around and found the...

Have you participated in the Enchanted Tales With Belle?

I came here one night to take pictures but had no idea what this place was really. I knew it was in Belle's house or is it? I came in and started taking pictures. I couldn't help it. This place was so beautiful I had to come during "Regular business hours" to really get an idea of what I was taking pictures of. This happens to be the case for many of my photos, unfortunately. I seem to work during the day and come to these places when no one is...

The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is a 2,111-capacity theatre in Dublin, Ireland which opened on 18 March 2010. Designed by Daniel Libeskind of New York and RHWL Architects of London, it is located in the Grand Canal Dock area and the concept of the theatre was created by Mike Adamson of Live Nation and the Docklands Development Authority as a touring theatre for Ballet, Opera, Musicals and Concerts.

It was officially opened with a performance of Swan Lake by the Russian State Ballet of Siberia. It is the largest theatre in Ireland and is designed to present theatrical productions that were previously unable to visit Ireland. The acoustic, theatre technical systems, structural and building services designs were by Arup. Chartered Land were the developers and funders of the theatre and Harry Crosbie is the lease holder.

The theatre complements the larger 14,000-capacity concert venue the 3Arena, which is located across the River Liffey to the north.

The building was opened as the Grand Canal Theatre, but was renamed during March 2012 as part of a naming rights agreement with Bord Gáis Energy worth a reported €4.5 million.[citation needed] It will have this name until 2018 at least. Bord Gáis is Irish for Gas Board.

Which resort has the best Christmas decorations?

One day, a couple of months ago, I ventured over to the Fort Wilderness Resort. This shot I found as I was walking into the hotel. This place was a joy to wander around and I cannot wait to get back over there to get a shot of their Christmas decorations...

Is the grey stuff THAT delicious?

I love this place above most places for being extremely accurate to the dimensions of the movie. I love the feeling of walking into a place and have the sense that I left the real world to step foot into the movie itself. I had the same feeling the first time I walked into Carsland in California Adventure. There are very few places that do that...
