Many go to church for many different reasons, religious teachings, guidance, prayer, but for others, church is where hope may be lost but is regained here as some seek refuge to renew their belief.
Throughout the long days that seem so much longer we all want a quiet place that's quiet so we can unwind. Some places people may go is a church sanctuary or maybe many may climb a mountain. Churches in New Mexico are sanctuaries for peace.
Many enjoy spending the day just hanging out at Quincy Market in Boston, Massachusetts either talking with old friends or just spending time together as a couple.
Seemingly when you think you leave a pigeon behind they seem to follow. Old Town had this beautiful pigeon who kept pecking at food, plants and flying around people who dodged them.
Under the pathway to where the trains travel is a tunnel with the old history of New Mexico. There are photos of New Mexico's first buildings as well as settlers of New Mexico. It's great as people walk and are able to see what New Mexico was and what it has become. The tunnel is in Albuquerque for all to enjoy.
A day at the local zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico was the ticket for a great day of family fun. My families favorite animal exhibit was the beautiful Pink Flamingos.
The fountains are turned on at awkward times, like when you least expect it. It's great to walk around watching the bigger fountains except when the smaller one's turn on before your ready.
When our Sunday stroll continued, after a short water break, a part of the trail became greener than most. Though throughout the day it did get hotter, the scenery became more beautiful.
In Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as many other places, murals are painted on the walls of alleys or store fronts. This alley way has one of the most unique murals.

As we travel we often times find our solitude in attending church for prayers to keep us healthy during our journey. To be able to take in the many different sights is an incredible life and a great learning experience.

In Amarillo. Texas, we learned that the Chamber Of Commerce was established around the early 1900's which became a leadership for economic improvement for the town of Amarillo. It's said to be the economic improvement for culture education, social education, governmental and environmental development as well as other educational purposes for the growth of Amarillo.
As we take a stroll from Nob Hill, there were many abandon buildings with shattered glass. Neighborhoods tend to be forgotten and often times so are the location of these neighborhoods in New Mexico
This offers a similar but slightly different view from itβs more famous cousin, Tunnel View. Valley View offers views of El Capitan and Bridalveil Falls in the classic juxtaposition but Half Dome is not visible from this vantage point. However, instead of Half Dome, the lovely and serene Merced River graces the foreground between these two icons providing some beautiful texture to otherwise cold granite vistas. The view is particularly nice in fall when the grasses in the Merced River change color, in winter when the meadows are draped in snow, and early spring when Bridalveil Fall is at itβs peak.
