I was pretty lucky on this shot.
As I was going down to the spot I had planned to mount my tripod, I noticed those two birds (faisans?... ) walking right in front of me.
They couldn't care less with my presence, so I took this quick shot hand held, before they changed their mind about me.

Trying to get rid of HDR addiction. And i's working!
ISO 125 - 45mm - f/5 1/320sec exposition
Filter Grad ND 0.9 to lower sky exposure.
Into Lightroom.
Added Graduated Filter to lower exposition on left corner to draw attention to the birds.
Some tweeks, and voila...
Shot was taken at 3:00 PM.
Constructive criticism welcomed!
Not sure how this is going to go down, silhouettes are not really my 'thing', but with that beautiful sky behind Peveril Point, I couldn't resist trying it!
Again, no HDR - I used the exposure combining option in Photomatix imstead. Could it be that my HDR addiction is finally drawing to a close?! With nature putting on a show like this, though, HDR's not needed!

Kids had to fend for themselves this morning even though mother was in the kitchen the whole time....this new HDR addiction is really sucking me in....I did manage to boil some eggs this morning. Getting far side tracked from the November people project...but hey...what can I say.

I took a day off to go see and walk around Nyhavn in Copenhagen and take many photos. On the other side of the famous postcard ships, was this beautiful Triumph Italia parked in front of an antique store. After about 9-12 shots of it, I finally picked out the best three takes that could satisfy my HDR addiction. :)
The Triumph Italia was built between 1959 and 1962, during which time 329 cars were produced. Designed by Giovanni Michelotti, the TR3 chassis and mechanical components were supplied by the Triumph Motor Company in the United Kingdom, and built by Alfredo Vignale in Turin, Italy.
I went to the beach for the Easter holiday.
400 Km away from home.
For 4 days, there were NO clouds in the sky.
Everybody else loved it. They got suntanned and enjoyed.
But I wanted the clouds and colorful sunsets!
And they never showed up.
So I had to shoot 80% ocean 20% dull sky.

I took the girls on a mini adventure up to Clogwyn Station on Snowdon. The first 5 minutes of the journey were very exciting for them...
...for the remaining 40 minutes of the ascent all I got was the classic "dad, are we nearly there yet?".
At the top I was saying "wow, look at the view girls", but hopscotch is obviously much more interesting.
This is the start of my HDR free series. Let's see how long I can go without posting another HDR! Can you get therapy for HDR addiction?
Burau Bay, Langkawi
Decided to have another go at this shot, and have just dipped my toe into the HDR pool for the very first time ......
Well, it's definitely different to the original posted here - certainly not subtle, but I quite like it!
Is this the start of an HDR addiction??
My #Throwback Photo:
The image that started my #HDR addiction! I cannot even remember what made me look into HDR photography. Whatever I did, I ended up finding info about HDR photography, and before I knew it I had downloaded Photomatix and was heading out the door with my camera, armed and dangerous.
The image below was the result of that very day, and now most of the images I take, I take with HDR in mind as the end image.

I have walked past this group of tree countless times but never with the sun at the right angle, and not since my hdr addiction with tripod in hand. Perfect low December sun. Cant wait to head back here on a snowy day.
