A képen a 81-es sz. vasútvonal (Hatvan-Kisterenye-Salgótarján-Somoskőújfalu) fix csomóponti kiszolgáló tehervonata látható, mely heti 2 alkalommal közlekedik, Salgótarjánon belül néhány üzemet szolgál ki, ahol főként fát és vasat szoktak rakodni, ezen kívül szinte csak személyvonatok koptatják az elhanyagolt állapotú, ámbár igen szép tájon átvezető vasútvonal síneit. A tolatóson az utóbbi időkben ritkaság volt a Púpos, mely azóta már Hatvanból is elkerült, a típusból a MÁV kötelékében jelenleg már csak Záhonyban használnak néhány példányt aktívabban.
