During the day, the Pancake Rocks in New Zealand show themselves in very bright yellow tones. Only during sunrise and sunset they display their color splendor. However, you need some luck to enjoy these colors, because the west coast of the South Island is known for its torrential rains that can last for days and weeks of gray skies.
How lucky I was to have a week of good weather in the New Zealands autumn and be able to take a few pictures in the morning at sunrise at this iconic place, even though the sun rises behind the mountains of Punakaiki at this time of year.
If you want to spend more time with the picture: A sign on the circular path of the Pancake Rocks shows figures and faces especially for this rock, which you can visualize with a little imagination.
Tagsüber zeigen sich die Pancake Rocks in Neuseeland in sehr hellen Gelbtönen. Nur während des Sonnenauf- und Untergangs kann man ihre wirkliche Farbenpracht genießen. Allerdings braucht man etwas Glück, um diese Farben zu sehen, denn die Westküste der Südinsel ist bekannt für ihre sintflutartigen Regenfälle, die tagelang anhalten können und wochenlangem grauem Himmel.
Was für ein Glück, dass ich eine Woche lang im neuseeländischen Herbst gutes Wetter hatte und morgens zum Sonnenaufgang ein paar Bilder schießen konnte, obwohl die Sonne zu dieser Jahreszeit hinter den Bergen von Punakaiki aufgeht.
Wer sich länger mit dem Bild beschäftigen möchte: Eine Hinweistafel auf dem Rundweg der Pancake Rocks zeigt speziell für diesen Felsen Figuren und Gesichter, die man sich mit ein wenig Phantasie vorstellen kann.

Three days ago in the morning looking for the light on the border between fog and the rising sun. For a few minutes I surprisingly had this light over the forest.
Vor drei Tagen morgens auf der Suche nach dem Licht an der Grenze zwischen Nebel und aufgehender Sonne. Für wenige Minuten hatte ich überraschend dieses Licht über dem Wald.
Das Bürohaus am Potsdamer Platz bildet den Abschluß der Hochhäuser. Es ist 106 meter hoch und wurde von dem italienischen Architekten Renzo Piano entworfen. Die Planung und Leitung des südlichen Abschlußes am Potsdamer Platz hatte er in Zusammenarbeit mit Christoph Kohlbecker.

Mit etwas Tarnung hatte ich das Glück, dass sich die Wasseramsel recht nahe bei mir auf einen Stein setzte und ich sie gut und detailreich ablichten konnte.

With a little camouflage, I was lucky that the dipper sat down on a stone very close to me and I was able to photograph it well and in detail.
I was surprised very much when I discovered Moidart/Scotland in the wildest nature an old telephone box in the area of the hole. The best one was, she was still intact. Why exactly here? Unfortunately, it was still early in the morning, otherwise I would have ordered myself a pizza and would have enjoyed them in the free nature....

Ich war sehr überrascht, als ich in der Gegend vom Loch Moidart/Schottland in der wildesten Natur eine alte Telefonzelle entdeckte. Das beste war, sie war noch intakt. Warum gerade hier? Leider war es noch früh am Morgen, sonst hätte ich mir eine Pizza bestellt und sie in der freien Natur genossen.....
Aus der Froschperspektive heraus fotografierte ich die schönen Fachwerkhäuser des Römers bei Frankfurt am Main in den Bundesland Hessen. Der blaue Himmel ist zu den bunten Fachwerkhäuser ein wunderschöner Farbkontrast. Es ist zwar ein schon älteres Bild aber ich hatte es vergessen einzuspielen ins Internet. Viel Spaß beim betrachten.
From a frog's perspective, I photographed the beautiful half-timbered houses of the Römer near Frankfurt am Main in the state of Hesse. The blue sky is a wonderful color contrast to the colorful half-timbered houses. It is an older picture but I forgot to upload it to the internet. Have fun looking at it.

Du point de vue d'une grenouille, j'ai photographié les belles maisons à colombages du Römer près de Francfort-sur-le-Main dans l'état de Hesse. Le ciel bleu est un merveilleux contraste de couleurs avec les maisons à colombages colorées. C'est une photo plus ancienne mais j'ai oublié de la télécharger sur Internet. Amusez-vous à le regarder.

When clearing out my mom's house after she moved to a care facility, I found this lovely pill box on her nightstand. It was broken, but nothing a little glue couldn't fix. Not sure how long she had it, or where it came from. I cannot ask her, as a thief named Alzheimer stole all her memories. I decided of all her things, that was what I wanted to keep as my treasure.
Als wir das Haus meiner Mutter ausräumten nachdem sie in eine Pflegeeinrichtung gezogen war, fand ich diese schöne Pillendose auf ihrem Nachttisch. Sie war zerbrochen, aber nichts, was ein wenig Kleber nicht reparieren konnte. Ich bin nicht sicher, wie lange sie diese Dose hatte oder woher sie kam. Ich kann sie nicht fragen, da ein Dieb namens Alzheimer all ihre Erinnerungen gestohlen hat. Von all ihren Sachen, diese Pillendose war was ich als meinen Schatz zur Erinnerung behalten wollte.
Das Rathaus mit einer Höhe von 97,73 Metern, einer Länge von etwa 129 Metern und einer Breite von rund 67 Metern wurde nach Plänen des Architekten Hermann Eggert auf 6026 Buchenpfählen errichtet. Die Haupthalle des Rathauses hatte eine Länge von 30 Metern, eine Breite von 21 Metern und eine Höhe von über 30 Metern. Das Baumaterial, Hartsandstein, kam aus Mehler Steinbrüchen.

Der Seeadler (Haliaeetus albicilla) ist ein Greifvogel aus der Familie der Habichtartigen (Accipitridae). Seeadler bewohnen gewässerreiche Landschaften Eurasiens von Grönland bis zum Pazifik. The white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) is a very large species of sea eagle widely distributed across temperate Eurasia. As are all eagles, it is a member of the family Accipitridae (or accipitrids) which includes other diurnal raptors such as hawks, kites, and harriers. One of up to eleven members in the genus Haliaeetus, which are commonly called sea eagles, it is also referred to as the white-tailed sea-eagle.[2] Sometimes, it is known as the ern or erne (depending on spelling by sources),[3] gray sea eagle[4] and Eurasian sea eagle[5]
While found across a very wide range, today breeding as far west as Greenland and Iceland across to as far east in Hokkaido, Japan, they are often scarce and very spottily distributed as a nesting species, mainly due to human activities. These have included habitat alterations and destruction of wetlands, about a hundred years of systematic persecution by humans (from the early 1800s to around World War II) followed by inadvertent poisonings and epidemics of nesting failures due to various manmade chemical pesticides and organic compounds, which have threatened eagles since roughly the 1950s and continue to be a potential concern. Due to this, the white-tailed eagle was considered endangered or extinct in several countries.[3][6][7][8] However, some populations have recovered well due to some governmental protections and dedicated conservationists and naturalists protecting habitats and nesting sites and partially regulating poaching and pesticide usage, as well as careful reintroductions into parts of their former range.[9][10][11]
White-tailed eagles usually live most of the year near large bodies of open water, including both coastal saltwater areas and inland freshwater, and require an abundant food supply and old-growth trees or ample sea cliffs for nesting.[3][9] They are considered a close cousin of the bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), which occupies a similar niche in North America.

Da ich keine Kamera mit hatte, musste ich mich mit dem Handy begnügen...
nagt an meinem Gartenzaun. Nach dem ich schon vor einiger Zeit das Efeu abgemacht hatte, kam der verrottete Gartenzaun zum Vorschein. 29 Jahre hat er gehalten. Nun ist es an der Zeit diesen zu ersetzen. Zurzeit ersetze ich den alten Zaun, durch einen neuen baugleichen Zaun. Da bleibt mir leider keine Zeit zum Fotografieren und auch weniger für Flickr.
P.S. Seit dem 03.04.2016 ist er nun Geschichte und ein neuer Zaun ist gebaut.
The ravages of time gnaw on my garden fence. After I had settled the ivy some time ago, the rotten fence appeared. It has held for 29 years. Now it is time to replace it. Currently I replace the old fence, by an identical new fence. Unfortunately I have no time to take pictures and even less for Flickr.
Since 03/04/2016 it's history. The new fence is completed.

Westerhever mit dem Anflug der Milchstrasse. Leider hatte ich den Mond nicht mitbedacht. Der schien zu 82% am Himmel und hat natürlich die Milchstrasse komplett überstrahlt. So kam lediglich eine nächtliche Landschaftsaufnahme mit dem schönen Leuchtturm zustande.
Westerhever with the approach of the Milky Way. Unfortunately, I hadn't considered the moon. The moonshine was 82% in the sky and of course completely outshined the Milky Way. The only result was a nocturnal landscape shot with the beautiful lighthouse.
After the short breather of yesterday, today is filled with colours again. I made that photograph yesterday evening close to sunset only five minutes away from my house. I instantly fell in love with the sidelight, playing with the blooming rapeseed. It was a very spontaneous thought, to head out again. I'm very happy, that I had this idea, and I'm happy with the results I brought home too. Its always something special for me, when I'm able to capture the beauty of my immediate vicinity.
Nach der kurzen Verschnaufpause von gestern, gibts heute wieder Farbe satt. Diese Bild entstand gestern Abend kurz vor Sonnenuntergang nur fünf Minuten von meinem Haus entfernt. Wie das Licht von der Seite, mit den Rapsblüten spielt, hat mich sofort angesprochen. Es war ein sehr spontaner Einfall von mir noch einmal los zu ziehen. Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich die Idee hatte und ich bin glücklich mit den Ergebnissen, die ich mit nach Hause gebracht habe. Es ist immer etwas Besonderes für mich, wenn es mir gelingt, die Schönheit meiner direkten Umgebung festzuhalten.

Es zeigt den Blick vom Uerdinger Rheinufer auf die andere Rheinseite. Schemenhaft sind die Anlagen des HKM-Hüttenwerkes von Duisburg-Hüttenheim zu sehen.

It shows the view from the Uerdinger Rhine bank to the other side of the Rhine. The facilities of the HKM steelworks in Duisburg-Hüttenheim can be seen in outline.
Mit Wilhelm Hallen wird ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude-Ensemble mit mehr als 20.000 qm Nutzungsfläche der alten Eisengießerei Winkelhof in Berlin-Reinickendorf bezeichnet.
Die roten Backsteinornamente und das Eisenfachwerk, über denen sich aneinandergereihte Sheddächer in den Himmel strecken, entstanden zwischen 1898 bis 1918 und erfuhren seither kaum Veränderungen. Seit der Schließung der Eisengießerei im Jahr 2014 blieb der Bestand unberührt, sodass durch die verrußten Glasscheiben das Tageslicht noch heute so fällt, wie der Maurermeister Malingriaux es vor einhundert Jahren gesehen hatte.
Vom 10.-18.9.2022 waren die Wilhelm Hallen ein Veranstaltungsort der Berlin Art Week.
Wilhelm Hallen is a listed building ensemble with more than 20,000 square meters of usable space of the old Winkelhof iron foundry in Berlin-Reinickendorf.
The red brick ornaments and the iron framework, above which a row of shed roofs stretch into the sky, were created between 1898 and 1918 and have hardly changed since then. Since the iron foundry closed in 2014, the existing building has remained untouched, so that daylight still falls through the sooty panes of glass as the master mason Malingriaux saw it a hundred years ago.
From September 10th to 18th, 2022, the Wilhelm Hallen were a venue of the Berlin Art Week.
Dire Straits: Once Upon a Time in The West
Heute haben wir bei uns Vollmond. Hatte für heute Abend schon eine Location in Frankfurt ausgesucht. Leider keine Chance, Dauerregen und dicht Wolken.
Ein kleines bisschen Mond habe ich auf diesem Bild im Januar gefunden. Aufgenommen kurz vor Sonnenaufgang bei uns auf einer Lichtung im Wald.

Die olympischen Spiele sind zu Ende. Ich war 2008 dort. Auf Grund der Gefährdung hatte ich nur eine kleine Kamera mit. Daher entspricht das Bild nicht mehr heutigen Ansprüchen. Aber es ist eine bleibende Erinnerung.
The Olympic Games are over. I was there in 2008. Due to the danger I had just a small camera. Therefore, the image no longer corresponds to today's requirements. But it is a lasting memory.
For today I had made up my mind not to submit a photo. Halloween is not my subject. But coincidence helped me. A picture of my granddaughter that she had painted years ago in kindergarten fell into my hands. That's it, I thought to myself, and took it as an incentive to present a photo for today.

Für heute hatte ich mir fest vorgenommen, kein Foto einzureichen. Halloween ist nicht mein Thema. Doch der Zufall hat mir geholfen. Ein Bild meiner Enkeltocher, das sie vor Jahren im Kindergarten gemalt hatte, fiel mir in die Hände. Das ist es, dachte ich mir, und nahm es als Ansporn, doch noch für heute ein Foto zu präsentieren.
Vielen Dank für eure netten Kommentare und die zahlreichen Sternchen, über die ich mich sehr freue.
Gerne hätte ich die Haubentaucher mit ihren 2 Küken, bei gutem Licht, bei der Fütterung fotografiert. Leider habe ich sie mit meinem schwimmenden Tarnzelt verschreckt und vertrieben.
Später kam dann doch noch ein Haubentaucher vorbeigeschwommen.
Aufnahme entstand bei Sonne mit Schäfchenwolken, wodurch die Wasseroberfläche silbern spiegelte.
Watchful eyes
I would have loved to photograph the Great Crested Grebes with their 2 chicks, in good light, feeding. Unfortunately, I scared them off with my floating camouflage tent and drove them away.
Later, however, a Great Crested Grebe came swimming by.
Shot was taken in sunshine with fleecy clouds, which made the water surface reflect silver.

We are back in Livorno on the Mediterranean Sea and with that we are at the photo that made me come here in the first place, namely to photograph the Castello del Boccale at sunset. All the other photos that were taken here were a bonus that came up spontaneously.
I think there are times of the year when it is much easier to create a composition that captures the sun and the castle at the same time. When the sun sets a little further to the left or further to the right. So ist was pretty tricky and I climbed over the rocks on both sides of the castle for quite a while until I decided on this variant here.
And that at a time when I wasn't even sure if I'd get to see the sun at all.
In the end I'm quite happy with the result. The only thing that bothers me is the concrete path on the right. I would have liked to avoid that, but I couldn't do that.
Wir sind zurück in Livorno am Mittelmeer und damit bei dem Foto, weswegen ich überhaupt hier her gefahren bin, nämlich um das Castello del Boccale bei Sonnenuntergang zu fotografieren. All die anderen Fotos, die hier entstanden sind waren ein Bonus, der sich spontan ergeben hat.
Ich glaube es gibt Zeiten im Jahr, da ist es deutlich einfacher hier eine Komposition zu gestalten, die Sonne und Schloß gleichzeitig erfasst. Wenn die Sonne etwas weiter links oder weiter rechts unter geht. So war das schon ganz schön knifflig und ich bin eine geraume Weile auf beiden Seiten des Schlosses über die Felsen geklettert, bis ich mich für diese Variante hier entschieden habe.
Und das zu einem Zeitpunkt, wo noch nicht einmal sicher war, ob ich die Sonne überhaupt zu sehen bekomme.
Schlußendlich bin ich ganz zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Das einzige was mich stört ist der Betonpfad auf der rechten Seite. Den hätte ich gern vermieden, was sich jedoch nicht machen lies.

Near St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) a Brown Booby followed our boat. Sometimes it plunged into the water and caught a fish.
Nahe St. Thomas (Karibik) folgte unserem Boot ein Weißbauchtölpel. Ab und zu schoss er ins Wasser. Einmal hatte er dabei auch einen Fisch gefangen.
An diesem Abend hatte ich etwas Glück mit dem Wetter. Es war fast windstill und die Wolken spiegelten sich im klaren Wasser. Die Sonne zeigte sich nur für ein paar wenige Minuten zwischen der Wolken- und Baumschicht.

Ich war an diesem Morgen leider etwas spät dran. Dass der Sonnenaufgang so spektakulär werden würde, damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet.

Odin hatte zwei dieser intelligenten Vögel immer bei sich. Wie wird wohl dieser Rabe diese Walnuss knacken? Lässt der Rabe die Nuss von großer Höhe auf den Boden fallen, oder von einem Auto überfahren lassen? Dies hätte ich auch gerne beobachtet.

Odin always had two of these intelligent birds with him. How do you think this raven will crack this walnut? Will the raven drop the nut from a great height onto the ground, or let it be run over by a car? I would have liked to observe this too.

Ein Ort der durch die zwei Kriege und deren Folgen zudem geworden ist was dieses Foto abbildet.
Erbaut als Lungenheilstätte, vorbildlich in die Brandenburgische Landschaft an einem See gelegen. Auf dem Gelände gibt es eine kleine Kapelle, die 2015 eine neues Dach erhalten hatte, das durch ein Feuer, von Vandallen gelegt, zerstört wurde. Nun ist sie dem weiteren Zerfall schutzlos dem Wetter ausgesetzt. Wir waren dort als Flickr-Gruppe angemeldet.

A place that has also become what this photo depicts as a result of the two wars and their consequences.
Built as a lung sanatorium, it is ideally situated in the Brandenburg landscape on a lake. There is a small chapel on the site that received a new roof in 2015, which was destroyed by a fire set by Vandals. Now it is exposed to further decay without protection from the weather. We were registered there as a Flickr group.

Un lieu qui est devenu à travers les deux guerres et leurs conséquences d'ailleurs ce que cette photo dépeint.
Construit comme un sanatorium pulmonaire, exemplaire situé dans le paysage brandebourgeois au bord d'un lac. Sur le site se trouve une petite chapelle, qui avait reçu un nouveau toit en 2015, et qui a été détruite par un incendie provoqué par des vandales. Dieses juvenile Murmeltier, in manchen Gebieten auch Mankei genannt, hat sich anscheinend gerne fotografieren lassen, da er sich nicht bewegt und keinen Mucks gemacht hat. Vermutlich hat er sich aber nicht bewegt, um auf sich nicht
aufmerksam zu machen.
Welch ein Glück für mich, da ich dann noch einige Zeit hatte
um mit meiner Kamera ein paar Fotos zu schießen.

This juvenile marmot, apparently enjoyed having his picture taken as he didn't move or make a sound. Presumably, however, it did not move so as not to draw attention to itself.

A scenery, you dont see so much anymore. Yesterday at last I had the chance to shoot again in a poppy field. Unfortunately the field was very small and because of all the photographers in a not so good condition. So I was satisfied with some detail shots.
Ein Anblick, den es leider nur noch selten gibt. Doch gestern hatte ich endlich mal wieder die Gelegenheit in einem Mohnfeld zu fotografieren. Leider war das Feld nicht sehr groß und durch die vielen Fotografen in keinem so guten Zustand. Darum beschränkte ich mich auf ein paar Detailaufnahmen.

After trying five times to photograph this location, I got finally my wished photo. The light on the sky and the mountain was perfect. The trys before, it was a cloudless morning with flat light or the sun was coverd by a layer of clouds.⠀

🇩🇪 Nachdem ich schon vier mal versucht hatte dieses Motiv zu fotografieren, hat beim fünften mal endlich alles gepasst. Zuvor war ich mit der Lichtstimmung nie zufrieden. Entweder war der Himmel wolkenlos oder die aufgehende Sonne wurde durch eine dicke Wolkenschicht verdeckt. ⠀
When I first visited the Fire Wave in the Valley of Fire State Park a good 10 years ago, this location was still largely unknown, no sign or path showed the way. Only GPS helped me to find the Fire Wave. For that I had this place to myself.
Bei meinem ersten Besuch der Fire Wave im Valley of Fire State Park vor jetzt gut 10 Jahren war diese Location noch weitgehend unbekannt, kein Schild oder Pfad wies einem den Weg. Einzig GPS half mir, die Fire Wave zu finden. Dafür hatte ich diesen Ort für mich alleine.

A beautiful and exciting day at Ponta da Piedade is coming to its end and the last sunrays are bringing the rocks in front of me to shine. There are so many photos left, I could still post but at some point it is time to move on. And so I will end that series tomorrow.
I don't exclude that I'm going to show one of the remaining shots from time to time. And if it's only to refresh my memories.
Ein wunderschöner und aufregender Tag am Ponta da Piedade geht zu Ende und die letzten Sonnenstrahlen bringen die Felsen vor mir zum Leuchten. Ich hätte noch so viel mehr Bilder von hier posten können, doch irgendwann ist es Zeit weiter zu ziehen. Und so werde ich diese Serie morgen beenden.
Ich schließe nicht aus, dass ich von Zeit zu Zeit nochmal eine der verbliebene Aufnahmen hervorhole. Und wenn auch nur, um meine Erinnerungen wieder aufzufrischen.

Ein Ziel, bzw. ein Zielfoto hatte ich bei meinem Besuch im Burgenland. Abgesehen von den Bienenfressern wollte ich die seltenen Ziesel sehen und wenn möglich ein schönes Foto von den lustigen Erdmännchen, bzw. Erdhörnchen machen.
A goal, or rather a target photo I had during my visit to Burgenland. Apart from the bee-eaters, I wanted to see the rare gopher and if possible take a nice photo of the funny meerkats.

Zum heutigen Thema hatte ich die Auswahl zwischen "A wie Amonit" "O Ohrstöpsel von einem Hörgerät" bis "A wie Auge von einem Teddy" und insgesamt 178 Fotos, das heißt die Qual der Wahl. Schlussendlich habe ich mich für die Pfefferminze die ein intensives Aroma verströmte und dem kleinen Anhänger, ein Geburtstagsgeschenk von meinem Ehegatten, entschieden.

For today's theme, I had the choice between "A for amonite", "O earplugs from a hearing aid" and "A for eye from a teddy" and a total of 178 photos, which means I was spoilt for choice. In the end I decided on the peppermint which gave off an intense aroma and the little pendant, a birthday present from my spouse.

The sky was on fire and I was allowed to witness - a truly spectacular show.
It took so long that I had time to take a series of portrait shots. I later merged them into a panorama in GIMP.

Now that we're in Bavaria, let's just stay another day and go back to Schwangau to see the beautiful chapel of St. Coloman and the dreamlike panorama of the snow-covered Alpine peaks.
Normally, if I can, I avoid including a road in a landscape shot (there is also a version where I did this). But in this case I was too taken with this slightly twisted tree with its filigree crown. He just had to be in the picture.
Wo wir nun mal in Bayern sind, bleiben wir doch einfach noch einen Tag und gehen nochmal nach Schwangau zur schönen Kapelle St. Coloman und dem traumhaften Panorama der verschneiten Alpengipfel.
Normalerweise vermeide ich, wenn es sich vermeiden lässt, eine Strasse mit in eine Landschaftsaufnahme zu integrieren (es gibt auch noch eine Version, wo ich dies gemacht habe). Doch in diesem Fall hatte es mir dieser leicht verdrehte Baum mit seiner filigranen Krone zu sehr angetan. Der musste einfach mit ins Bild.

Maybe You know this alley at mt. Lilienstein in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains already. I've published a photo of it here only some days ago. This is how it was looking five minutes before. Another ten minutes earlier you couldn't see anything of it. Now the fog is starting to release the trees and the view is changing every second. What an amazing play. I could have make a hundred photos alone from this subject.
Diese Allee am Lilienstein im Elbsandsteingebirge kennt Ihr vielleicht noch. Erst vor Kurzem habe ich hier ein Bild von Ihr veröffentlicht. So, sah es nur 5 Minuten vorher aus. Weitere 10 Minuten früher war davon noch gar nichts zu sehen. Der Nebel beginnt nun gerade die Bäume freizugeben und der Anblick verändert sich sekündlich. Ein wundersvolles Schauspiel. Ich hätte allein von dieser Stelle hundert Fotos machen können.

On Tuesday of this week I woke up shortly after 4 and when I looked out the window I saw that the sky was turning purple. 15 minutes later I was already standing in this harvested rye field for the first photo. Of course, I was very happy that fog had also formed in the valley.
Dienstag dieser Woche wurde ich kurz nach 4 wach und sah beim Blick aus dem Fenster, dass der Himmel sich purpur färbte. 15 Minuten später stand ich bereits für das erste Foto in diesem abgeernteten Roggenfeld. Natürlich war meine Freude groß, dass sich im Tal auch noch Nebel gebildet hatte.

Olympiastadion mit Spielfeld und Zuschauerplätze!
Wir waren gerade an der Feuerschale als viele Singstimmen erklangen, direkt gegenüber hatte eine kleine Gruppe Platz genommen.
Der Klang eines transportablen Klavier ertönte für das Einstimmen/Gesangstraining und wir durften an einer Chorprobe als Zuhörer*inen teilnehmen, eine schöne Überraschung.
Seid achtsam, haltet Abstand-Hygiene-Alltagsmaske, abgekürzt "AHA" Dann kommen wir auch gut durch die Zeit.

Olympic stadium with playing field and spectator seats!
We were just at the fire bowl when many singing voices sounded, directly opposite a small group had taken a seat.
The sound of a portable piano was heard for tuning up/vocal training and we were allowed to participate in a choir rehearsal as listeners*, a nice surprise.
Be mindful, keep your distance hygiene everyday mask, abbreviated "AHA" Then we also get through time well.

Un stade olympique avec un terrain de jeu et des sièges pour les spectateurs !
Nous étions juste à la boule de feu quand de nombreuses voix ont retenti, juste en face d'un petit groupe qui s'était assis.
Le son d'un piano transportable a été utilisé pour l'accordage et l'entraînement au chant et nous avons pu participer à une répétition de la chorale en tant qu'auditeurs*, une belle surprise.

Nachdem der Eisvogel kein Messer dabei hatte, wurde der große Fisch in einem Happen verschlungen.

Since the kingfisher didn't have a knife with him, the big fish was devoured in one bite.
I promised you when I posted another version of this stunningly beautiful Tuscan sunrise last week. There is another one with a view over the whole valley. I want to keep that promise today.
Yes, I know, basically it is no longer sunrise but rather the golden hour. This doesn't detract from the magic that emanates from this sight, at least I don't think so.
If you look at the sky you can see how lucky I was with the lighting conditions. Had those dark clouds been just a tad further east, they would have blocked the sun completely and none of this morning's beautiful shots would have been possible.
This realization drastically increases my gratitude for the gift that was prepared for me here.
Ich hatte es Euch versprochen, als ich letzte Woche eine andere Version dieses umwerfend schönen toskanischen Sonnenaufgangs veröffentlicht habe. Es gibt da noch eine weitere mit einem Blick über das ganze Tal. Dieses Versprechen möchte ich heute einlösen.
Ja ich weiß, im Grund ist das schon nicht mehr der Sonnenaufgang sondern eher schon die goldene Stunde. Dies tut der Magie, die von diesem Anblick ausgeht jedoch keinen Abbruch, finde ich zumindest.
Wenn Ihr Euch den Himmel anschaut könnt Ihr sehen, was für enormes Glück ich mit den Lichtverhältnissen hatte. Hätten sich diese dunklen Wolken auch nur ein kleinen Stück weiter östlich befunden, hätten sie die Sonne komplett blockiert und es wäre keine der wunderschönen Aufnahmen dieses Morgens möglich gewesen.
Diese Erkenntnis erhöht nochmal drastisch meine Dankbarkeit für das Geschenk, welches mir hier bereitet wurde.

The ghost forest at the Baltic Sea was on my to-do list for a long time. At Easter, that had now finally worked out.
Last week I had again a fantastic fog mood over the Wittlich Valley, as you can only experience in a few days. This was the last shot of this morning.
Letzte Woche hatte ich wieder eine fantastische Nebelstimmung über dem Wittlicher Tal, wie man sie nur an wenigen Tagen erlebt. Dies ist das letzte Bild von diesem Morgen.

Rosinenbomber auf dem Dach des Deutschen Technikmuseum.. 🇺🇦💙💛🇪🇺
Die Blockade West-Berlins durch die Sowjetunion, eine Enklave in der sowjetischen Besatzungszone, wurde die Bevölkerung von der Versorgung mit Lebensmittel , Medikamenten und anderen lebenswichtigen Hilfsmitteln in der Zeit vom 24.Juni1948 bis zum12.Mai 1949 abgeschnitten. Mit der Idee die Bevölkerung im westlichen Teil der Stadt durch die Luft von den Alliierten versorgt. Die Idee Kinder eine kleine Freude zu schenken hatte der Pilot Gail Halvorsen. In kleinen selbstgebastelten Fallschirmen wurde Schokolade, Kaugummi und Rosinen am Flughafen Tempelhof aus den Rosinenbombern abgeworfen. Die Kinder warteten jeden Tag auf die kleinen Gaben.
Bleibt gesund und hoffen wir gemeinsam auf Frieden in Europa. 🇺🇦💙💛🇪🇺

The blockade of West Berlin by the Soviet Union, an enclave in the Soviet occupation zone, cut off the population from the supply of food, medicine and other vital supplies in the period from 24 June 1948 to 12 May 1949. The idea was that the population in the western part of the city would be supplied by air by the Allies. The pilot Gail Halvorsen had the idea to give children a little joy. Chocolate, chewing gum and sultanas were dropped from the sultana bombers at Tempelhof Airport in little parachutes he had made himself. The children waited every day for the little gifts.

Le blocus de Berlin-Ouest par l'Union soviétique, une enclave dans la zone d'occupation soviétique, a privé la population de l'approvisionnement en nourriture, médicaments et autres produits de première nécessité du 24 juin 1948 au 12 mai 1949. L'idée était que la population de la partie ouest de la ville soit approvisionnée par les alliés par voie aérienne. Le pilote Gail Halvorsen a eu l'idée d'offrir un peu de joie aux enfants. Des chocolats, des chewing-gums et des raisins secs étaient largués des bombardiers à raisins à l'aéroport de Tempelhof dans des petits parachutes faits maison. Les enfants attendaient chaque jour ces petits cadeaux.
