Made a lined drawstring bag in memory of my recently passed away grumpy Chihuahua. I used Lori Holt's tutorial. Josh would have hated it so much. He hated everything :)
Photo was taken on the welcome mat, Josh's favorite pooping spot!
I do not mean any hatred toward the Christian religion by this photograph. It was just to show hate crimes for my 2010-2011 concentration.
A social justice piece featuring photos from a Love Trumps Hate rally in Burlington, Vermont USA

Okay, so I had no intention of really being in front of the camera as I wanted to capture as much of the city as possible in the short time I had, but K insisted I pose for some shots...and now I get it. I put clients in front of the camera all the time and tell them to act natural, pose naturally, smile naturally, and the minute it was me, I did exactly as they do, I froze, stood awkwardly, didn't know what to do with my hands...HATED IT. I wanted K to stop immediately, but he was way into the photography thing, so there are these shots which I hate, hate, hate, wound up in my camera.
But it was totally a taste of my own medicine. I think I'll be less judgy the next time I go on a shoot, when people just stand there like, what to do, where do I put my hand. Mile in the shoes...
I love the guileless juxtaposition of the perennial Hate Mail target - asylum seekers or foreigners as they are also known - with the heart warming and seasonal offer of a magical Christmas family film. Gawd bless you, one and all - except you, and you, and you, and you...
