Today, we picked up some Smart Doll goodies : a weather cap and a "Haters Gonna Hate" shirt.
I'll admit that sometimes, I can be very lazy redoing Aisha's hijab. So I was basically looking for an excuse on how to just stick on her head without much styling. The cap covers the seam line perfectly. So now, Aisha can go around town looking like a cute hijabi hipster ;)

Taken for a 52 week photo a week project with a theme of "love/hate". This is my first effort at black and whitifiyng bits of a photo. I didn't know which one to submit to the group, so I asked Emily (6) who chose this one :

instead. She has great taste. She also is in the LOVE camp for Marmite, like 100% of my blood relatives. Obviously.
I submitted Emily's choice to the 52 weeks group, but just to be thran (another blood relative trait), I've submitted this one to another group instead.

If you hate dust, you wouldn't like living in the southwestern US. We have been in a drought for two years, so things are worse than ever. Not only do we have dust in copious amounts but we also get fine sand coming inside the house as well. We are inundated with the stuff. On windy days its even worse. I have discovered also that electronic equipment attracts the dust. This table is under my TV that I dusted a few days ago! So this is my pet peeve! I can't wait to move to Vermont where the air has some moisture in it! Now excuse me while I go and dust...AGAIN!!!
