1892, architect Milton Bean.

The location around the courthouse square became the focus of elite residences, continuing into the 1890s when this brick Queen Anne house was designed by Milton Bean, an architect from nearby Lansdale, who enjoyed a run of success in Doylestown.

Das Leben nach uns geht weiter!

Pflanzen und andere Tiere freuen sich.

It was a Kodachrome 200 morning, but whatcha gonna do. When you're there, might as well shoot. I guess we did OK.

October 08, 1993.

In this shot, I was really hoping to get symmetry using the cairn and the hill in the background. Plus, I think that the lighting was on my side for this one.

Mensch, Schwein oder Vogel?

Der Mensch ist ein Tier, ein Schwein das mit Hilfe der Technik so gut wie ein Vogel fliegen kann!

This island out in the Chesapeake Bay used to be two islands (hence the name in the title). The water between the islands has been filled in with dredge material from the Baltimore Harbor over the years and reclaimed into state park lands and for wildlife.

Here it can be seen under moonlighting.

Looking down on the village of South Harting from the national Trust view point of Harting Down.

Spending the first morning of 2025 editing some new shots and playing with my Topaz editing software on a few of my archived shots.

Here is a red stag, a royal, 12-pointer hart of the Scottish Highlands. He by far represents THE most memorable deer encounter of my life as a year out from our trip to Scotland in 2022, I hoped and prayed just to see a royal or imperial stag. To stand on a small knoll and photograph this beauty for 5-7 minutes until it and his harem moved on was a blessing 100x bigger than that I had prayed for.

Photo taken on 22 October, 2022 near Strath Cluanie / Loch Cluanie, Scotland.

Hopefully this will be my last mobile phone photo from my hike the other day. My card reader failed for my DSLR photo transfer and a new one is due ins the post today. So in the meantime I have uploaded a few iPhone photos.

The view here shows my route from the flank of High Street, across Marsala Ill Bell and towards Harter Fell.

This Harts Bonnie Dahlia was the star of the show at the Annual Dahlia Society Exhibit at Trax Farms in Pennsylvania.

Bouth in the Lake District. Apparently there are 313 pubs called The White Hart in the UK.

The White Hart was the badge of King Richard II of England. It may also have been a pun on his name, as in "Rich-hart". It associated Richard's rule with piety and asserted his divine authority. The emblem features prominently in a notable piece of late 14th-century religious art known as Wilton Diptych (National Gallery, London), which is thought to be the earliest authentic contemporary portrait of an English king.

There are still many inns and pubs in England that sport a sign of The White Hart, the fifth most popular name for a pub.
