Thanks again everyone for appreciating my work.
It looked so amazing, the white snow and the dark brown square! A huge flock of seaguls were helping the farmer. There were a sea of gulls behind the plough, and then a truck drowe by, and they all flew away, before I could shoot them! :(

Decarbonising my Classic Mini. It's dirty work and can be hard going at times. But the reward is a Mini that runs far better than it did before. "Hard Work".. "Flickr Friday".

Die Menschen in Nepal meistern ihr Leben mit all seinen Schwierigkeiten wie wir uns das kaum vorstellen können und das meist mit einem Lächeln.
Many Filipino workers are not aware of the significance of their work, except in earning money. They don’t care about the result of their performance because they are only smart workers. Some Filipinos use their muscle, heart and mind to achieve excellent performance without thinking of the monetary reward or public cognizance. They are widely wanted because they are hard workers.
A break from the Michigan photos today for a tribute to the hardworking union brothers at Miller who lost their lives yesterday.
Just after 2pm, an employee at the plant opened fire on his co-workers, killing 5 before taking his own life. This senseless act of violence has shut down the plant for the week to let the survivors have time to heal.
Just about everyone in the Milwaukee area knows someone who works for Miller. My first beer at a bar was a High Life, just down the road from the plant. CP crews still service the plant as needed throughout the week, keeping tradition with the Milwaukee Road's dedication to multiple breweries back in the day. This old Milwaukee line is also the beginning of the WSOR trackage to the north, and they pass the brewery most nights headed to Muskego yard with interchange traffic.
I was looking through some older photos today and this one just seemed fitting to post. SOO SD60s, the Miller plant, and the sharp thorns of weeds reaching into an overcast sky.
Flowers, thorns, and cloudy skies; Milwaukee is grieving today.
How are all the beautiful bricks of Bhakatpur made, and who works in the brick factories around the city? Ratna Prasad Prajapati, the owner of KP Brick Industry, invited me for tea and told me how he started small 30 years ago and now employs 400 men and women to produce high-quality bricks. He said the cheap competition from China and India makes life difficult for them. Could I take photos on the premises? Of course, he was delighted by my interest! #nepal #brickfields #hardwork #tradition #bhaktapur
