It's harvest time around here and you can see tractors and various other machinery working day and nighttime. As long as the wheather is dry the harvest has to be taken in. So in this case, nighttime is the right time for the farmers.

Kolis are the fishermen community in our state Maharashtra a very hardworking race they face storms typhoons but are brave not scared of the wrath of nature .

I have had a great connection with them as I stayed at Wodehouse Road as a child very close to Sassoon Docks at Colaba .

Now I stay in Bandra which was an ancient fishing village for a short period my house was at Danpada a fishing village but had to give it up due to the 93 Hindu Muslim riots the house landlord was late Koli Mr Tilekar ..he helped us gave us shelter when the rioters came to loot us .
