I am truly sorry that the release of the novel has been so greatly delayed.
I have been revising, rewriting, and reconsidering the story itself.
But this time, I should finally be able to release it in late May.
Below is the new synopsis. The opening may resemble what you have seen before, but from the latter half onward, the story takes a different turn.

Introduction
Synopsis
A Palestinian group from Gaza, having hacked into North Korea’s cryptocurrency system and stolen hundreds of millions of dollars, secretly infiltrates the United States.
Their purpose is to “restore” their lost homeland of Gaza on American soil.
Exploiting the Republican Party’s hardline immigration policies and the anti-immigrant sentiment smoldering within the country, they quietly set in motion a plan to collapse American society from within.
Republican presidential candidate Justin Bradford is shot while delivering a speech at Madison Square Garden. Almost at the same moment, in Los Angeles, former President Owen Reed is also shot at a rally for Democratic candidate Ryan Bennett.
Two gunshots that divide a nation.
But Justin miraculously survives.
His blood type is the rare “Bombay blood,” said to occur in only one in every 2.5 million people in the world.
The person able to provide that precious blood is Anaya Patel, a community art facilitator working in Brooklyn.
Her blood had been stored in the blood bank at Bellevue Hospital, and through an emergency transfusion, the candidate’s life is barely held to this world.
The blood of one woman touches the fate of a nation.
What first appears to be coincidence begins, as though it had never been coincidence at all, to draw Anaya herself into the center of a vast and unfolding event.
Secret Service agent Jack Vance senses that an organization from Gaza is behind the attacks, and pursues the investigation alongside Cameron Bartlett, head of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, and Veronica Reeves, a special agent in the New York office.
Before long, they arrive at the possibility that Rafi Ghannam, who studied architecture at the Islamic University, had infiltrated redevelopment sites in Los Angeles and New York, planting the seeds of destruction within the very structures of the buildings themselves.
The targets are newly built residential districts where employees connected to ICE and ERO live.
It is not merely an attack on facilities.
It is a cold retaliation aimed at the very order of America — an order that has managed, excluded, and classified immigrants.
To prevent further destruction, Veronica urges that the president open a dialogue.
But the sitting president, Grant Lanford, refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, Justin, having survived his wounds, and Democratic candidate Ryan appeal to the nation through television.
Yet as if to mock their voices, Grant presses ahead with a speech in Iowa, declaring that America will not yield to terror.
There, too, an unseen hand has already reached.
Amid the collapsing landscape of America, a quiet fissure begins to form between those who still believe in destruction and those who have begun to see the emptiness that remains beyond it.
Lives lost in Gaza.
Blood spilled in America.
A plan that began as revenge gradually blurs the boundary between prayer and hatred, salvation and the void.
Some still seek to punish a wounded world.
Others begin to understand that beyond that punishment, nothing may remain.
The city continues to shine, as though nothing has happened.
Yet beneath its feet, a low sound is still resonating — too deep for anyone to hear.
What does revenge take away?
Whom does prayer save?
And where does a person go, carrying what has been lost?
The night of Manhattan, the light of Brooklyn, the memories left along the riverbank.
In an age beginning to collapse, one woman reaches out and touches the pain of the world.
Only after that light has vanished does a person finally understand the depth of the wound left inside their own heart.

あらすじ
北朝鮮の仮想通貨システムをハッキングし、数億ドルを奪取したガザ出身のパレスチナ人グループが、アメリカ合衆国へ密かに潜入する。
彼らの目的は、失われた祖国ガザを、アメリカの地に「復元」することだった。
共和党による強硬な移民政策と、国内にくすぶる排外感情を利用し、アメリカ社会を内側から崩壊させる計画が静かに進行していく。
共和党大統領候補ジャスティン・ブラッドフォードが、マディソン・スクエア・ガーデンで演説中に狙撃され、ほぼ同時刻、ロサンゼルスでは前大統領オーウェン・リードもまた、民主党候補ライアン・ベネットの集会で撃たれる。
国家を二分する、ふたつの銃声。
だが、ジャスティンは奇跡的に生還する。
彼の血液型は、世界でわずか二百五十万人に一人ともいわれる「ボンベイブラッド」。
その希少な血を提供できたのは、ブルックリンで活動するコミュニティアート・ファシリテーター、アナヤ・パテルだった。
彼女の血液はベルビュー病院の血液バンクに保存されており、緊急輸血によって、候補者の命はかろうじて繋がれる。
ひとりの女性の血が、国家の運命に触れてしまう。

シークレットサービスのジャック・ヴァンスは、テロの背後にガザ出身の組織が関与していることを察知し、FBIロサンゼルス支局長キャメロン・バートレット、ニューヨーク支局の特別捜査官ヴェロニカ・リーヴスと共に捜査を進める。
やがて彼らは、イスラム大学で建築学を学んだラフィ・ガンナムが、ロサンゼルスやニューヨークの再開発現場に潜入し、建物の構造そのものに破壊の種を埋め込んでいた可能性へ辿り着く。
標的は、ICE、そしてEROに関わる職員たちが暮らす新興住宅街。
それは単なる施設への攻撃ではなかった。
移民を管理し、排除し、分類してきた「アメリカの秩序」そのものへ向けられた、冷たい反撃だった。
ヴェロニカは、これ以上の破壊を防ぐため、大統領への対話を進言する。
だが、現職のグラント・ランフォード大統領は耳を貸さない。

Amid the backdrop of hardline Republican immigration policies and a growing wave of xenophobia, a quiet plan begins to take shape: the gradual collapse of America from within.
During a speech at Madison Square Garden, Republican presidential candidate Justin Bradford is shot. Almost simultaneously in Los Angeles, former president Owen Reed is attacked at a rally for Democratic hopeful Ryan Bennett.
Two assassinations—mirroring one another—ignite a nation’s deepest divide. Yet, against all odds, Justin survives. His blood type is one in 2.5 million: the Bombay Blood Group.
The only person who can donate such blood is Anaya Patel, a community art facilitator working in Brooklyn. Her blood, stored in the Bellevue Hospital Blood Bank, is used for an emergency transfusion that saves the candidate’s life.
Jack Vance, an agent of the U.S. Secret Service, suspects a Gaza-based network behind the attacks. Together with Cameron Bartlett, the FBI Director of the Los Angeles Field Office, and Veronica Reeves, a senior investigator from New York, he begins to uncover a vast conspiracy.
Their investigation leads them to Rafi Gannam, a former architecture student at the Islamic University of Gaza, who has infiltrated redevelopment sites across Los Angeles and New York—embedding C4 explosives deep within beams and structural cores.
His targets: new residential districts where agents of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) live—symbols of “the order America built.”
Veronica urges the President to pursue dialogue to prevent further destruction, but President Grant M. Ranford refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, the recovering Justin and his Democratic rival Ryan appear on national television, calling for unity beyond political divisions.
Their words of reason, however, are drowned out when Grant takes the stage in Iowa, defiantly declaring: “We will never bow to terror.”
Among the crowd, Rafi’s operatives have already taken their positions.
As chaos erupts and the stage collapses, Amir Nasser—once Rafi’s comrade, haunted by the memory of his sister’s death in Gaza—tries desperately to halt the chain of destruction.
But Rafi’s conviction remains unshaken.
Under the twilight beneath the Williamsburg Bridge, amid the city’s fading noise, the two men part ways.
It is the boundary between prayer and vengeance, between hope and nothingness.

Because of my child, I stayed one night at a hotel in Shinjuku. Except for the first two shots—the back entrance and the izakaya—I took everything within 30 minutes, starting at 6:00 a.m.
This time the trip was all about my child, so I only slipped out briefly before breakfast to take a few photos. The hotel breakfast was delicious. :)

今回は、子供中心で一泊したので、朝食前にちょっとだけ撮りに出かけました。ホテルの朝食が美味しかったです。:)

“Synopsis”
A Palestinian group from Gaza hacks into North Korea’s cryptocurrency system, stealing hundreds of millions of dollars. Their true goal is not money—but to recreate the lost homeland of Gaza on American soil.
Amid the backdrop of hardline Republican immigration policies and a growing wave of xenophobia, a quiet plan begins to take shape: the gradual collapse of America from within.
During a speech at Madison Square Garden, Republican presidential candidate Justin Bradford is shot. Almost simultaneously in Los Angeles, former president Owen Reed is attacked at a rally for Democratic hopeful Ryan Bennett.
Two assassinations—mirroring one another—ignite a nation’s deepest divide. Yet, against all odds, Justin survives. His blood type is one in 2.5 million: the Bombay Blood Group.
The only person who can donate such blood is Anaya Patel, a community art facilitator working in Brooklyn. Her blood, stored in the Bellevue Hospital Blood Bank, is used for an emergency transfusion that saves the candidate’s life.
Jack Vance, an agent of the U.S. Secret Service, suspects a Gaza-based network behind the attacks. Together with Cameron Bartlett, the FBI Director of the Los Angeles Field Office, and Veronica Reeves, a senior investigator from New York, he begins to uncover a vast conspiracy.
Their investigation leads them to Rafi Gannam, a former architecture student at the Islamic University of Gaza, who has infiltrated redevelopment sites across Los Angeles and New York—embedding C4 explosives deep within beams and structural cores.
His targets: new residential districts where agents of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) live—symbols of “the order America built.”
Veronica urges the President to pursue dialogue to prevent further destruction, but President Grant M. Ranford refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, the recovering Justin and his Democratic rival Ryan appear on national television, calling for unity beyond political divisions.
Their words of reason, however, are drowned out when Grant takes the stage in Iowa, defiantly declaring: “We will never bow to terror.”
Among the crowd, Rafi’s operatives have already taken their positions.
As chaos erupts and the stage collapses, Amir Nasser—once Rafi’s comrade, haunted by the memory of his sister’s death in Gaza—tries desperately to halt the chain of destruction.
But Rafi’s conviction remains unshaken.
Under the twilight beneath the Williamsburg Bridge, amid the city’s fading noise, the two men part ways.
It is the boundary between prayer and vengeance, between hope and nothingness.

“あらすじ”
北朝鮮の仮想通貨システムをハッキングし、数億ドルを奪取したガザ出身のパレスチナ人グループが、アメリカ合衆国へ密かに潜入する。
彼らの目的は、失われた祖国ガザを、アメリカの地に「復元」することだった。
共和党による強硬な移民政策と、国内にくすぶる排外感情を利用し、アメリカ社会を内側から崩壊させる計画が静かに進行していく。
共和党大統領候補ジャスティン・ブラッドフォードがマディソン・スクエア・ガーデンで演説中に狙撃され、ほぼ同時刻、ロサンゼルスでは前大統領オーウェン・リードもまた、民主党候補ライアン・ベネットの集会で撃たれる。
国家を二分する双方向の暗殺。だが、ジャスティンは奇跡的に生還する。

シークレットサービスのジャック・バンスは、テロの背後にガザ出身の組織が関与していることを察知し、FBIロサンゼルス支局長官キャメロン・バートレット、ニューヨーク支局の特別捜査官ヴェロニカ・リーブスと共に捜査を進める。
やがて彼らは、イスラム大学で建築学を学んだラフィ・ガンナムが、ロサンゼルスやニューヨークの再開発現場に潜入し、梁や構造体の中枢にC4爆薬を仕込んでいた事実に辿り着く。
標的は、ICE（移民・関税執行局）やERO（執行・送還作戦部門）の職員が暮らす新興住宅街——すなわち、「アメリカが築いた秩序」そのものだった。
ヴェロニカは、これ以上の破壊を防ぐため、大統領への対話を進言するが、現職のグラント・ランフォード大統領は耳を貸さない。
一方、命を取り留めたジャスティンと民主党候補ライアンは、テレビを通じて国民に訴えかけ、分断を乗り越えようとする。
だが、その理性の声を嘲笑うかのように、グラントはアイオワ州での演説を強行し、「テロには屈しない」と宣言する。
その会場には、すでにラフィの仲間が率いる工作チームが潜入していた。
崩壊する会場の惨状を前に、仲間の一人アミール・ナッセルは、かつてガザで妹を失った記憶に引き裂かれ、破壊の連鎖を止めようとする。
だが、ラフィの信念は揺るがない。
ウィリアムズバーグ橋の下、夕暮れの喧騒のなか、二人は決別する。
それは、祈りと報復、希望と虚無の境界線だった——。

Rimbaud is still relevant now that we are living a season in hell in a civilization that is moving towards a new world order: this communitarianism is already the basis of hundreds of new global rules and regulations that eliminate individual rights because this policy considers that individual rights and freedoms constitute a real threat to the security of the community; the messianic propaganda used reminds us of the dark days of Nazism or Communism. History has taught us nothing: we can see the commemorations of the Holocaust almost daily while today there is a proliferation of chemical (gas chamber technology) and energy weapons on an individual scale. : it is contemporary torture for those who are suspected of not thinking correctly. “Safe City” technology monitors everyone from the moment they leave their door until the moment they return, and they enter your home to place microphones and micro cameras there under the pretext that you are in contact with a person. “suspect” of terrorism. According to Hannah Arendt, preparation for totalitarianism has been successful when people have lost touch with their fellow human beings as well as the reality around them: think about it!

Contemporary notions of Auschwitz - As painter & poet I work since 20 years on the contemporary evolution of the Western World into a new hardlined totalitarianism - what's happening today is what I expected, I saw a climax coming without having a precize date or a mean(virus, but I thought about that possibility in 2014 with the painting 'Virus Attack'. Dutch Jewish author Croiset says that Nazism has never stopped and I agree with that, based on my experiences(°1954). I wrote some poetry about the Holocaust (Auschwitz, Shoa, Stalag Zehn B, Mauthausen 186, Red River, Papirac)

“Synopsis”
A Palestinian group from Gaza hacks into North Korea’s cryptocurrency system, stealing hundreds of millions of dollars. Their true goal is not money—but to recreate the lost homeland of Gaza on American soil.
Amid the backdrop of hardline Republican immigration policies and a growing wave of xenophobia, a quiet plan begins to take shape: the gradual collapse of America from within.
During a speech at Madison Square Garden, Republican presidential candidate Justin Bradford is shot. Almost simultaneously in Los Angeles, former president Owen Reed is attacked at a rally for Democratic hopeful Ryan Bennett.
Two assassinations—mirroring one another—ignite a nation’s deepest divide. Yet, against all odds, Justin survives. His blood type is one in 2.5 million: the Bombay Blood Group.
The only person who can donate such blood is Anaya Patel, a community art facilitator working in Brooklyn. Her blood, stored in the Bellevue Hospital Blood Bank, is used for an emergency transfusion that saves the candidate’s life.
Jack Vance, an agent of the U.S. Secret Service, suspects a Gaza-based network behind the attacks. Together with Cameron Bartlett, the FBI Director of the Los Angeles Field Office, and Veronica Reeves, a senior investigator from New York, he begins to uncover a vast conspiracy.
Their investigation leads them to Rafi Gannam, a former architecture student at the Islamic University of Gaza, who has infiltrated redevelopment sites across Los Angeles and New York—embedding C4 explosives deep within beams and structural cores.
His targets: new residential districts where agents of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) live—symbols of “the order America built.”
Veronica urges the President to pursue dialogue to prevent further destruction, but President Grant M. Ranford refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, the recovering Justin and his Democratic rival Ryan appear on national television, calling for unity beyond political divisions.
Their words of reason, however, are drowned out when Grant takes the stage in Iowa, defiantly declaring: “We will never bow to terror.”
Among the crowd, Rafi’s operatives have already taken their positions.
As chaos erupts and the stage collapses, Amir Nasser—once Rafi’s comrade, haunted by the memory of his sister’s death in Gaza—tries desperately to halt the chain of destruction.
But Rafi’s conviction remains unshaken.
Under the twilight beneath the Williamsburg Bridge, amid the city’s fading noise, the two men part ways.
It is the boundary between prayer and vengeance, between hope and nothingness.

The railway men of Eritrea's last surviving stretch of high-iron take a short break after a long day's work operating a 1939-built Italian 4-4-2 Mallét. It is not unusual for President Trump to face criticism from Catholic leaders.
His hardline immigration policies, promised in his campaign and cheered on by supporters, have prompted condemnation from church leaders.

But the broad backlash in the last 48 hours, over Trump's attack on Pope Leo and his sharing of an AI image of himself as a Christ-like figure, is very different.
The uproar over Trump's lengthy social media attack on the first American pope, as too liberal and too "weak on crime", together with the AI image, have crystallised a shift in opinion among many Catholic conservatives since the war began six weeks ago.

I had a little wander around mid-Wales last week to view up close the waterfalls I'd previously only seen from the roadside, albeit numerous times.
This is the upper tier of Carreg Wen Falls on Glasgwm, very close to the top of the Red Bull Hardline downhill mountain biking course, well over a thousand feet above the valley floor in southern Snowdonia.
It felt a little strange coming here & not including aircraft in the day's itinerary but as I walked around, the sound of rushing water did make a familiar noise!
I'll definitely be returning during Winter.

Journey has been a band since 1973, and guitarist Neil Schon is the only original member still in the band. Jonathan Cain (keyboards) has been with the band since 1980, taking the place of original singer and keyboardist Greg Rolie. Drummer Deen Castronovo joined the band in 1998, and bassist Todd Jensen joined in 2021. Todd previously played with Neil and Deen in the band Hardline. I met those three guys in 1992, and that was a thrill for me, especially meeting Neil, a fantastic guitarist and songwriter.
In 2007, Neil saw some videos of Arnel Pineda, and invited him to audition for Journey's lead singer. He has been in the band ever since, and sounds a lot like former singer Steve Perry, but with his own style.

Built between 1952 and 1958 on the orders of the Chinese Communist Party, the monument has inscriptions by Mao Tse Tung and Zhou Enlai and commemorates those who died in various struggles against foreign powers and the Nationalists prior to 1949. The Great Hall of the People, another 1950s behemoth built with assistance from the Soviet Union can be seen in the background.
In 1976 hundreds of thousands visited the monument following the death of Zhou Enlai in what became known as the Tiananmen Incident. This was seen as a protest against the Gang of Four, hardline associates of Mao who were plotting to succeed the ailing leader after he died.
This morning it was awesome to catch a real gem of vintage aviation en-route to a flyover further down the valley - in support of the Red Bull sponsored mountain-biking event 'Hardline', along the mountains of LFA7.
It looked stunning & those four radial 18-cylinder P&W engines sounded absolutely gorgeous.
