Rhaeadr Y Carreg Wen - Snowdonia
I had a little wander around mid-Wales last week to view up close the waterfalls I'd previously only seen from the roadside, albeit numerous times.
This is the upper tier of Carreg Wen Falls on Glasgwm, very close to the top of the Red Bull Hardline downhill mountain biking course, well over a thousand feet above the valley floor in southern Snowdonia.
It felt a little strange coming here & not including aircraft in the day's itinerary but as I walked around, the sound of rushing water did make a familiar noise!
I'll definitely be returning during Winter.
