It was early morning. I was on cruise ship back to Sydney Harbour. It was lucky to have this beautiful weather.
Sunset from Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, Sydney.
I was looking at photos from 2019, when I visited Australia twice, and am looking forward to travel again.
Day 50, Sydney, Australia:
As we tied up in the new harbour next to harbour bridge. We had view to die for. Opera house on one side and harbour bride on the other side.

For 122 pictures in 2022 #96 "Something going under or over a bridge", this is the crude oil carrier Phoenix Beacon (see previous photo) passing under the Harbor Bridge in Corpus Christi, Texas. There is probably 10 - 20 feet of clearance, more than seems apparent in this shot, but it will be much lower in the water on the way back out. I wish I had brought my RF adapter so I could ave used my 15-35mm ultra wide for this, we are only around 50 feet away from this massive ship, and I am back up as far as I could get in order to include the bridge.

Corpus Christi is getting a new bridge over its harbor and ship channel. And as usual in Texas it is two years behind schedule, and further delayed because they had hired the same engineering firm responsible for a bridge collapse in Florida (who were fired, and now they're having to recertify the work that was done). Traffic around the construction zone is a mess. But cranes are present, and so I have a shot for 120 pictures in 2020 #29 "Cranes".
A dramatic winter sunset envelops Sydney, which reminds us of the sky's vastness and how insignificant we really are.
For 121 Pictures in 2021 #114 "Work in progress" These are pylons for a new bridge spanning the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, which runs through the gap you can discern between the pylon with the crane and the others to the left. The photo is being taken from underneath the old bridge (that metal thing on the left is one of the supports), which is part of the parking lot for the Texas State Aquarium. The smoke is from a fire somewhere along the port. We were not able to see what was burning, but it was mostly out by the time we got turned around and headed back toward home.

Sydney. 4 image hdr plus blending in of parts from original RAW files. I have another frame to add on the right but I'm too lazy now to add it. This took ages to process.
Once again taken from Kirribilli. I went back there a few times at different times to get a different light and sky. I really love this spot. It's just so beautiful. I went to take pictures with my father who's getting pretty fanatic as well now. It was really cloudy but suddenly the sky opened up and the sun shone through.
Wow, it's been 2 months since I uploaded a photo here! Here's a photo I took a few weeks ago from just in front of the Luna Park entrance as the sun was rising.
This is a different kind of sunrise shot than I usually go for. I wanted to emphasise the beautiful golden light that sweeps across the city for a few fleeting minutes as the sun peeks up over the horizon, without actually having the sun in my shot.
This looks better the bigger it's viewed, so be sure to click on the image to open it in lightbox mode :)
Cheers!

Circular Quay has a prime location on Sydney Harbour, bordered by the Sydney Opera House and Royal Botanic Garden on one side, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge on the other.
The Harbour Bridge (1932), designed by British firm Dorman Long of Middlesbrough, connects the Sydney central business district to the North Shore. The bridge spans 503 metres (1650 feet), and is 1150 metres (3772 feet) in length.
The 30-minute walk from one end to the other offers excellent harbour views. From the North Shore side, one can take a train from Milsons Point back to the city. @sydney

Magnificent view from our room at the Shangri-La Sydney of these two stunning and iconic structures and the Circular Quay. Shame the weather was crap! :D
Sydney CBD buildings appear to be pegs from Sydney Tower Eye, the tallest building in Sydney.
The vertical growth of the downtown has obscured the Sydney Opera House which is barely visible on the top right, but I was amused to see the Sydney Harbor Bridge with its full stretch!
Living in Sydney, I thought it was about time I added a photo of this beautiful city to my collection.
This classic view of Sydney Harbour is shared by the Four Seasons and Shangri-La Hotels. If you look closely near the clock tower you can almost see the gallery!

You can see people climbing the right arc of the bridge!
Since 1998, BridgeClimb has made it possible for tourists to climb the southern half of the bridge.

The Shot
Well, quite obvious, the shot was taken in Sydney - to be exact from North Sydney, near Luna Park. This time I took the ferry and did not walk across the bridge. I focussed on that particular shot for the night and waited until the light was perfect. I'd rather get one awesome shot than 50 mediocre once when I go out and I am quite happy with the result I got here.
The photo is also for purchase as print with various mounting options at www.andredistel.com

Wonderful when you pass on a bridge that connect two sides together ,, If you think for a minute what would you do if there were no bridge in life. We had to use boats or maybe swim which we wont for sure.
IF you think for a while what’s the thing in couples life that works like a bridge.
Did you get it .. Some of you might be right for those who still thinks about it I will tell you.
A CHILD … Yes .. a kid in a marriage relation makes a relation much much stronger, Some might not agree with me .. but living your life with your partner for a very long time without having anything in common between both of you, I mean what’s the point of getting married while not having a goal which is having your own kids and raise them in the right way.
Most of the people they say well we don’t need one in our marriage life which is wrong believe me they work like a LOVE machine .. they increase the marriage love and keep its stronger .. a child makes your life more meaningful and how proud you will get when you see your own children getting graduated in life carrying your name Wherever you go.
I had this in mind to say .. When I was going through my shots and I saw the Harbor Bridge Shot which I took in Sydney.
Enjoy it
