Sometimes the images to take are just in your backyard! I needed to take advantage of the tangerine trees for the colorful bokeh before tangerines are picked.

I was so lucky to enjoy a wonderful late summer day yesterday. I visited a beautiful park here in Gothenburg and for the first time this year I was able to capture some shots of butterflies. We've had so few butterflies this year, which have made me sad but now in the late Summer they finally got here. :-)

Sorry I've been MIA. I was out of town for 2 days because I went to a concert with some friends. We went to see the New Kid's On The Block LOL! Yes I was a BIG fan back in the 80's! Anyway, the concert was awesome and soo much fun! :) Plus it was nice to get a girl's night out (over night), with NO kids!

This vine is in my backyard and takes over almost everything if not properly taken care of. Every once in a while I see this orange flower. I think it's life span is less than 24 hrs because it's more common for me to find them dried up than like this. Not sure what it is called. Happy Fence Friday!

I don't know why there is superstition about black cats. Do people really think black cats will bring them bad luck?
I love cats and I love black cats in particular.
Black cats have black faces. In Chinese culture, black faces (黑臉) means angry faces and it is not a good thing too. But I love black faces!
I saw this shy black face in the Barcelona cemetery during my vacation in 2010. He is one of the fellows I missed the most in my vacation.

They are shy and scared of strangers.
During my trip in Barcelona, I have seen many stray cats on the streets and parks.
Luckily I saw kind people offering food to them too.
