Ma come può essere che una stagione di freddo porti felicità ed allegria?
Una delle tante ragioni è l'atmosfera che solo l'inverno ha: la neve, il freddo , il cielo, il rientrare in casa al caldo dopo una "sferzata" di neve di freddo.

L'inverno è il periodo dell'anno che favorisce maggiormente l'immaginazione : all'aperto quando la neve trasforma il paesaggio come in una fiaba.
In casa poi ci si siede davanti al camino, si riflette sul passato.
E' una stagione psicologica e di ricordi, sopratutto ricordi della nostra infanzia, perchè è sempre impresso nella nostra memoria le sensazioni/emozioni che provavamo quando nevicava e guardavamo dalla finestra la neve cadere, ma non solo, poi all'aperto come giocavamo felici e allegri nella neve.

Winter is the time of year that fosters the imagination: outdoors when the snow transforms the landscape like in a fairy tale.
At home, one sits in front of the fireplace and reflects on the past.
It 'a psychological season and memories, especially memories of our childhood, because it is always imprinted in our memory the feelings / emotions we felt when it was snowing and we looked at the window falling snow, but not only, then outdoors as we played happily and Merry in the snow.
If by renouncing a lesser happiness one may realize a greater happiness,
let the wise one renounce the lesser, having regard for the greater.

This picure was taking at the mouth of the Baptism River in Tettegouche Stat Park. That is Shovel Point in the left of the picture. We enjoyed the hypnotizing sound of the waves crashing against the stone shoreline. The beauty of this place was breathtaking. I only wish we could have spent a few more days at this park.

While admiring all the tall bamboo culms, I suddenly noticed a small movement on the surface. If you look closely you might just see an eight legged beauty. Hooray for Mother Nature and new gardens to explore!

This little dog once belonged to a cousin of mine. Both have since passed away.
In the original image, the background was somewhat cluttered so I added the dog to a different background.
When you're a squirrel visiting the buffet at ChicaD's, you might say happiness is a freshly filled Goodie Bowl chock full of the bestest treats ever!

At last, she's at sea, late, the sun is going, the mist and night coming... she's been escorted by smaller boats as salute.
