taken at camp..what she has around her wrist are called friendship braclets..they make them at camp and either keep them or give to their roommates or staff..
this one has a lot of them and hasn´t cut the thread off the ends..maybe she likes them like that..:)
From event description: "Peaceful vigils honoring the innocent lives lost and pay respect to those whose lives have been affected by police brutality will gather on August 14, 2014 at 7pm EST/4pm PT. Moment of silence will start at the: 20 minute mark.
To identify each other and show solidarity, wear a red ribbon/cloth/bandana on your right arm at the vigils. Do not wear red if in areas where doing so can cause conflict."

Continuing with yesterday's pic of the day I've decided to go with "Street Photography" as this week's theme. In this picture we have home game fans holding their hands up during a basketball game. Basically, it's a fun way for the fans to get involved in the game and hopefully help the home team gain one or more a penalty points by guiding the ball into the net. Don't ask me how but that's what I was told. It's also fun for spectators and another way to show their support for the home team. Finally, I'm not sure if this picture fits into the category of street photography but there you go. Anyway, the NZ Breakers would go on to beat the Townsville Crocodiles 93-63.
