Some of the scrapbookers painted hands as they worked on different projects.
I'm back from cooking for these ladies for a handful of days and now will get ready to go to Toronto to see Elise and of course so many others. This Grammy can't wait to hug Elise.
My son is home and while I was playing my newer guitar, a lovely Cedar Top made by Steve Ganz, he grabbed the M10 and the 50 'Lux, his favorite of my lenses (along w 28 Elmarit :)

I blushed Kai's hands, finally! The weather has been so uncooperative this week. I also have some progress on drafting a pattern for his pants, but it's not fit to show just yet.
A bit of a fun experiment, does it work? You can decide. Original image is monochrome but then four primary colour copies were superimposed but slightly out of register and then blended. Then add a touch of zoom filter and this is what you get.
I was hunting for photos that contain the star: Judith Hand and realized I had never uploaded this photo from May, 2013.
In the frame are, of course, the Milky Way, Clouds Rest at left,
and Half Dome directly beneath the bushier tree in the lower right.
Judith Hand is my former sister-in-law and we had a star in Scorpio named after her via InternationalStarRegistry.com.
While it's not an official astronomic designation, the registry does allow one to assign names to otherwise unnamed stars.
