Took this shot with my faithful Canon IXUS 860 IS at Snow Patrol concert yesterday. It was a great concert, but not as good as Coldplay though :)
This blue hour photograph was taken last week at Budapest’s Fisherman’s Bastion.
We waited for blue hour after a memorable visit to Budapest Castle district during day time. The intricate design of the Bastion in Buda Hill offers photograph opportunities for visitors. This scene was framed with the archway, with a visitor taking photograph using her handphone while another visitor was walking up the stairs.

Central Turkey, Biblical Cappadocia, Mount Erciyes, the volcanic mountains can be seen in the dstance at the right hand corner.
This is an old photos a coupel of years back - i came across while clearing my old pictures from this HTC handphone with a defective camera - always gives me blue/purple screen when the lighting is dim.
Just a quicky with my handphone from the hotel balcony (Madrid) when the morning light was amazing and created tho silhouette of the lanterne through the balcony glass.

He is a fisherman, he told me that he has 7 children and 3 grand-children. I met him at a hut by the roadside, he sat there alone and I chat with him for a while and ask permission to take a couple of his images. _cuva

We chanced upon a Carpet Python while on the way down after our guided night tour to see the Glow Worms at Tamborine Mountain, Australia.
As it might seem, the python was on the road making its way across to the other side, totally ignorant of the peril situation it was facing. Therefore we decided to use abit of our time, to help the python to cross by using the torchlight from our handphone to alert the oncoming vehicles to stop momentarily for the snake to reach the other side.

Working on a farm in West Auckland. I miss the outdoors a lot, fresh air, peace and quiet. Shot on a Nokia N95. The camera on this was better than my iPhone 5.
Took this pic with my handphone that day. The rice on the left is over-exposed but I think that the pic as a whole is still interesting enough to post. This Japanese style bento box had sea-bass and chicken with vegetables. Together with a side salad, dessert and drink (not shown here), it cost about USD8 which was very reasonable for hotel standards.

They sat on the steps and waited. One girl took out her handphone and busy thumbs began hitting characters. When there were no handphones, she will probably be like the other girls looking out into the river collecting her thoughts. The modern tools of convenience left us with little time with ourselves. We have lost the art of conversation with ourselves. Maybe, I’m just being too nostalgic.
