Man's ring inlaid with laboratory grown opal set in sterling silver. This handcrafted ring would make a nice man's wedding ring for someone looking for an alternative to a boring band.
Beadwoven ring using RAW and CRAW stitches plus Czech Glass spikes 24kt gold plate and a Swarovski Rivoli plus micro pearls. I have used Miyuki Duracoat seedies as a ring requires tough beads. The glass spikes can lie flat or flare out .. whatever your preference.
Paraiba blue topaz ring inlaid with blue green lab created opal and lapis in sterling silver by Hileman Silver Jewelry. Style #CS028.
Lab created opal ring with princess cut white sapphire set in sterling silver by Hileman Silver Jewelry. The laboratory grown opal in this ring is a bright blue green color and was cut to make the pattern appear more random like that of natural Australian opal.
Commission for a wedding ring based on the Arts and Crafts movement. Made entirely by hand from 18ct yellow gold.
We worked with our client from an original idea she had to create the perfect ring for her.
The pattern/tutorial for this design will be available in the second issue of Digital Beading Magazine, due out Feb 2013.

Dichroic glass cab, copper sheet and wire
Red dichroic glass cab made by my friend Annette Holbert.
This was the first time I soldered wire pieces onto the back plate. I am happy with the result
1.50ct brilliant diamond with 50 diamond pave set bezel. I photographed this on a white background for the simple and magazine friendly approach... and to use on our website.
sterling, casted, filed, hammered, engraved, 3 small diamonds (2x0.01, 1x0.005ct, D, VS1) flush set, polished.
This ring is for me and it's about Us 3 ;) - "three little diamonds" beating in a wast history of the Earth. 4mygirls
Beaded ring design using green, cream/gold lined seed beads and tiny Swarovski rounds 2mm in Golden Shadow. This ring is already included in my photostream but this is a really good photo of the design. Sterling silver adjustable ring blank with the ring beaded onto a vintage mother of pearl button.

Named after the surreal mathematical artist who created three dimensional illusions in print.
1.04ct E colour princess cut diamond set on the horizontal axis with matching double pairs of 2.50mm princess cuts. Set in platinum.
A very tricky design to get right as it might have come out looking really bad. The whole setting has to curve to fit the finger nicely and the supposedly sharp corners need to be smooth and flowing in reality.
Princess cut sapphire & diamond chequered ring with trillion diamond shoulders set in platinum.
Designed to be totally original and stylish, this ring is made in platinum for strength whilst the art deco form is thanks to my love of the era. The shoulder diamonds were added to the design three days before it was actually completed! I designed this for my wife and we've never made another even a little like it, but I like to show it to people on our website and in our bespoke portfolio.
I've been meaning to take some pictures of my favorite pieces of jewelry for a while. It's a good thing when the "well of 365 creativity" runs dry on a given day.
It's nice to have a sweetheart who is relaxed about some things that would drive other men mad.
For instance, my still wearing - just because it's an awesome ring in one of my favorite colors - a ring from a VERY short lived engagement to someone else, obviously (?) before we became a couple.
He has a thing for rocks and gemstones and appreciates the beauty of this honkin' big Rose de France amethyst (at least 5 carats??) And he appreciates that the stone was cut and mounted by the giver. He also understands that that relationship is long dead and he's got nothing to be skeeved about. Heh. If he were still wearing his wedding ring 3.5 years post divorce, I'd defnitely be skeeved ...
Photograph is SOOC.

Edit: Amethyst isn't my birthstone, but it is my son's. The ex-fiance knew it was one of my favorite stones when he made the ring - gauging correctly that I'd rather have a large gorgeous amethyst than a small emerald (another favorite, my mother's birthstone). He didn't happen to have any blue topaz around and knew I dislike turquoise (my birthstones). Heh.
Random: my father's aunt had an amethyst engagement ring, she always said she far preferred it to what microscopically small diamond Uncle could've gotten for that price.
i made this three piece ring set in sterling silver with a faceted mystic topaz stone in size seven
