This is Shawn Mao (means panda in Chinese).He is a sweet panda with a wild side.He has sequined cheeks and front pawpads(seen in this pic),huge safety eyes and a cute pink safety nose. His little black mohawk is made from fun fur.Shawn is completely handsewn(heart cheeks and pawpads were bought with sequins on them already but I sewed them on him).His stripes on his forehead and down his back were individually sewn on.The "No-bodyz" are aprox 10" tall by 9" wide and can sit alone. These puppies will be going to several people in Bangkok.(Oct2009).They each have:Felt bodies,Safety eyes,safety noses,pvc collars with grommets, dog charms,Gingham bows,and a chew toy.
Looky what a fun mail day I had today! Got my swap package from Pixieval & she has crocheted a blanket with Audrey Hpburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's!!!! I'm in awe! This is one of the best swap things I've ever received! Thank you pixieval!!!!! Loving it!!!!

Been taking so many photos of the bunny lately that I haven't been focusing on my crafting. I'm getting ready for a craft show coming up next month. Hope it's fun!

Just Pinned to Dragons: #Repost @bella.enchanted.studio After so many time consuming and intricate Dragons I got to make this adorable custom Loki inspired Dragonkin for @sculpt_and_draw! Ive been so overwhelmed with the responses my Recent dragons have received and I could not be more thankful. Though I must admit its been nice to make something simple to relax my mind. Making such intricate pieces can be taxing and Ive decided to push this update back till next Friday. Ill be stepping away from social media a bit for my mental health especially on the weekends. I apologize in advance for any delays in responses to messages and emails. . A healthy mind is a creative mind and my mental and physical health come first. Im acclimating to a different lifestyle that involves self care and and this will require some patience. Recently I got a book called Plush-o-rama from the library,it's about making plush creatures. My 3 youngest went through the book and picked their favorites and I made them for them(with some modifications). Chan wanted the Gremlin but I didn't have plush fabric so I used felt instead. I thought it was missing some flare so I added some felt flames to the front and back(like wings).This creature is partly filled with batting and some plastic beads so he can sit up on his own.The "hair" is metallic string that was looped and sewn in.There are more pics of him in my photostream;o)
This blue puppy was just "born" last night.It was ordered by my sister-n-law who will take him to Thailand and give him to his new owner who is a recent college grad(that's why in my other pics the puppy is chewing on a bear with a graduation cap). The puppy was also personalized with the name of his new owner(I hope they don't look at my flickr pics!) There will be a total of 6 puppies in this "litter"...2 down and 4 more to be born in the next week.The older sister of this puppy has her pics in my photostream already.Oh,another thing, he is scented like baby powder.
