Textured card stock embossed using a cuttlebug button plate. Layered flower die cut from handmade paper using cuttlebug die range and embellished with a real button and cotton threads.

Supplies: Kraft cardstock from own stash; Stamps: Hero Arts, Papertrey Ink; Ink: Versamagic wheat, Ranger Archival Coffee, Versamark; Other: Button (PTI), Rhinestones (Hero Arts), crochet thread, teal embossing powder.
I bought a few new stamps this week and this HA's Silhouette Bells was one of them. I used Tami and Jennifer's resist technique. I started by stamping the blue PP with Old French writing in Broken China Distress ink then used Versamark and clear embossing with the Silhouette stamp. I then used Shabby shutters and Peeled paint for the leaves and Faded Jeans for the bluebells. Turned out really good. Embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder.
Channeled my inner Jennifer McGuire on this card. Used my distress inks to "color" the flowers and stems.

This is not for a challenge. I just wanted to share. I made this card for a friend whose pet passed away a couple of days ago. Sympathy cards are not my forte, but I knew it was the right thing to do. The branch with the butterflies is by Memory Box, the leaf scroll is by Hero Arts, the cloud stamp is by Stampscapes (I think), the sentiment is by Rubber Stampede, and the bird punch is by Martha Stewart. Thanks for looking.
To make this card I used thr "you octopi my heart" stamp set by Lawn Fawn, some Doodlebug Design papers and I used a cloudy borders die for the waves.
Used the bitty florals stencil, arched leaves and flower blooms die along with the etched meadow flower and leaves die set from #simonsaysstamp
We can all fear that which is different and unknown.

Not for HA challenge - but used HA stamps
I thought I'd try do use the White balance on my Fiji Finepix E500 after looking at Lisa Spangler's tutorial. I took a photo on full auto - no adjustments nothing and then this one is after I adjusted the white balance - I adjusted it to auto WB as every other one I tried gave a yellow tint.
NB _ this copy has been edited in Picnik for auto fix.
This cardstock for this card was a Bazzil Bling in an off white colour with a white ribbon and white cardstock scallop edging. The butterfly is embossed in silver on the bazzil.
