This shows my process of hand carving an axe handle from beginning to end. The only part missing is splitting a log down to make a plank for me to work down.
Inspired by the Handle stool which was initially developed to install "the perfect skin" concept, presented at the 2000 "essere Ben Essere, Triennalle" in Milan, the Baby Handle is a variation of its original, made of wood and covered with fabric featuring a handle loop facilitating its transport and allowing you to hang it on a wall or hat rack.
One of Joannes many garage sale hammers - this was missing a metal wedge, and the wooden one was loose. Original finish was foil label on red painted handle as shown. Absolutely o markings!
Removed wedges, cut handle off by about 3/8" new wedges and now SOLID and TIGHT!
Gets put in the hammer drawer for use as needed.
Any idea as to label aand/or name?

After handling/looking at the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Wonder Woman statues, I arrived at the conclusion that none of them would actually be acceptable enough to me. As luck would have it, I saw a classified ad for something the next step up; something from the ArtFX 1/6 Justice League lineup.
Not sure who the artist is for this one, but it's clearly a different vibe than the Bishoujo releases, but at the same time there's no mistaking it for a Japanese statue. Fairly simple pose, standing with one leg bent, clutching her cape. Pretty simple pose, fairly symmetric, and doesn't take up a lot of space (though the base kind of does that anyway).
Unfortunately, this cape also gets in the way of pretty much everything you're supposed to be able to see from the back. Which is unfortunate as this Wonder Woman has has serious gains to show off, especially the arms. Torso and legs looks nicely proportioned without being overly curvy.
The head has some dynamically flowing hair, which helps to sell the illusion of movement. The facial details are nice and sharp. as is the hair. Detailing in general for the statue isn't bad, save for the Lasso of Truth, Even fine details like the fingernails are well done. There strangely isn't much muscle definition and I wish there was some more as it would help to make the statue pop even more.
Paint is quite nice overall, especially the Copper. Paint work is sharp with only minor occurrences of bleeding. Sufficient amount o f blackwash on the folds of the cape to give the illusion of shadow. As the entire statue is painted, there are no issues with flesh tones not matching.
Build wise, the overall production quality is actually quite good. However, there are some very obvious seamlines on the left thing, though if I were a gambling man I'd imagine they're on the right thigh too, just hidden due to the cape. Balance wise, the statue connects to the base via the part of the cape that touches the floor, and the feet also rest on the base, supporting the statue.
