Picking up old tie pieces

Presumably this is part of the cooling system. There was evidence of massive amounts of computer systems in the huge complex, so it's unsurprising they needed a very large cooling system.

A handler noticed how excited Claire was to meet the superheroes, and then he saw Abbie's badge. So he brought us "backstage" to meet all of the characters privately!!! This was one of the highlights of the trip - the girls all thought it was so cool to meet Spiderman and Rogue and Storm, etc....and Chris and I thought it was pretty cool, too, truth be told! The characters really did a great job with the girls (and with us, too. It was a ton of fun!)

In comparison to other handlers, these guys are being extremely gentle.

This picture was taken behind were all the circus animals where kept. The animals belonged to the Ringling Bros. Circus. At the time there were in Ontario, CA. There were elephants, tigers, zebras, Miniature horses, and a few other breeds of horses. The horses and zebras were kept in 10ft x 10ft stalls. There were two horses per stall. There were smaller stalls for the Miniature horses, but they seemed to fit them well. There were two big containers that had separate cages in them for the tigers. The tigers had a ledge in each cage that they could jump up onto. Each cage had a water bowl that an employee would fill up with a hose. Most of the tigers had access to some shade but others were forced to stay in the hot sun. The elephants were kept in a small enclosure on the cement. An electric rope was used to keep the elephants in place…. at least they were not chained or tethered.

Here you see the elephants and horses walking down the street to the train. The train was two miles away and the police had to block all the streets so cars could not get pass.
