Finally got to test the long end of my new 100-300mm (200-600 equivalent).
Weather was fairly dull.

Matilda's big pink floppy hat protects her from the sun, but she was concerned that her hat would get sunburned. To allay her fears, we added this tiny black hat on top of her own.

Williford Elementary School now has a class set of handheld computers. This is the power-up station that teachers can wheel into their rooms.
This is a shot of the camera's monitor showing a test picture fully zoomed in. This is clearly not sharp. This was the third of a group of captures taken in continuous mode. It is clear that the capture is not sharp. A crop of the corresponding image is here.
First panoramic shot ever. Because of holidays I decided not to carry lots of gear, tripod as well. So just stood safely on my feet and spining around trying not to shake (was windy:>). Then photos merged in Photoshop CS3. However, one of my favourites shot.
