Dragons Blood w Hints of Patchouli Amber and Sandalwood
Purple Dragons Blood base with balls of Patchouli, Amber and Sandalwood polka dots to give it a cosmic visual fun fest! Made using the hot process method. This soap smells wonderful and it's enriched with Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter for extra moisturizing goodness. Everytime I walk by my soap table I have to stop and smell it, it smells so, so good!
I use my soap as shampoo bars as well. It's a fun way to get clean from head to toe in one fell swoop ~ schwooosh! I then use a (very light) jojoba oil, shea butter and avocado butter mixture about every three days. I have very long, curly, unmanageable, frizzy, gnarly hair... and it actually pleases me. Not to mention no chemicals left to leech their way into my scalp! See how I smile in my pic? All because of natural remedies :-)
My method: Lather up a wash cloth really REALLY good and squeeze it out onto your hair. This is easier then trying to lather your hands and then transfer. Scrub it up and use the remainder for your body. Close your eyes for the hair part though - or ouch! Then rinse and you are all done. You've saved water, time and smell great too. Ah…
*I only use my 'plain' soap bars for shampoo bars. I don't use any soaps that have clay, oatmeal, coffee, poppy seeds, flowers, herbs… etc. You get the picture right? I don't want anything leftover hanging around making me look silly. I can do that on my own!
You will receive 1 bar approximately 4+ ounces. Some bars weigh as much as 5.5 oz and these bars will go first. I am a terrible cutter, but I try...
It's good to let your soap air out between uses for a longer lasting bar. Store your handmade soaps in a cool dry place letting them breathe. Very, very important for handmade soap! You don't want your soap absorbing every last bit of water it touches. I cut mine in quarters to make them last longer :-) and this way I can use a different soap everyday - yay me!
Hand crafted soaps are so good for your skin. No added chemicals and all the natural glycerin is retained. I'll never go back to buying store bought chemical laden soaps.

Sweet Opium Handcrafted Natural Soap
I've strayed from the polka dot path today to create this beautiful and plain bar of 'sweet opium oil' scented soap. Made using the hot process method with oils of olive, coconut, palm and shea butter with no added colorant.

Sleeping Angels Shea Butter Handmade Natural Soap
I've enriched this bar with shea butter, sweet almond oil and vegetable glycerin for added moisture. The color reminds me of a beautiful pink opal. I tried hard to capture this in the pics, but no cigar.
This was a sample from Brambleberry. I had never heard of it and the name isn't up my opium alley. It's not bad and for some reason it reminds me of a Christmas scent. It might be because of the name? I really don't have the words to desribe this one, so allow me to steal the words out of Brambleberry's mouth:
"This glorious fragrance is fresh, flowery and green with notes of Rose, Muget, and Musk. Delicate and floral, it's a great addition to any soap line! One customer wrote in and said, "I just wanted to let you know that I used the Sleeping Angels FO in it and I love it! It smells great. Like a cross between a baby and a field of flowers."
So there it is :-)
Teeth Soap Lip Balm Style - No Mess and Great for Travel!
Peppermint, Anise, Orange & Lemon CASTILLE BAR - My favorite.
This toothpaste soap actually started out as a custom order. After researching the 'said' benefits of using handmade soap to clean your teeth I thought I'd better give it a try for myself. I'm so glad I did. My teeth feel DO feel cleaner, I could actually feel the difference after my first brushing! And, I feel a lot safer using soap that I've made and with ingredients that I can actually pronounce! Although I'm going to have to get used to the taste (it is in fact soap). I feel so much better using a natural toothpaste, umm I mean toothsoap. I've already thrown my shampoo and conditioner to the wind and am very thankful for my custom toothsoap order that has opened my eyes :-)
Here's a few things I've found out about using tradional toothpaste.
Fluoride is: toxic, once used as a rat poisoning and insecticide, a pollutant made of aluminum by products, can actually cause your teeth to crumble in large doses!
Souce: www.ghchealth.com/where-the-yellow-went.html
After reading all this crazy stuff on toothpaste my husband, who I would NEVER in a million years think would do want to switch (on his own), has decided to toss the toothpaste back to the chemical gods!
What does my toothsoap contain?
Saponified Olive Oil
Peppermint EO
Anise EO
Orange EO
Lemon EO
Directions: Wet your toothbrush and swipe the toothsoap tube a couple of times. You wont need much. Brusha brusha brusha, and rinse about 3 times.
I'm not a doctor and make no medical claims. You can just search for 'toothpaste soap' and find a lot more info online. Thank you :-)
These are so cute! Each apple soap comes in two pieces and is lightly scented with a delicious apple fragrance sure to make your mouth water! The soap apples weigh in around 3oz but may vary considering each one is handmade individually. They are handcrafted with our goat's milk soap base and come in any color of your choice. Beautiful bold black and grey with champa chips to boot! This soap is super moisturizing, (I've superfatted with jojoba and avocado oils) smells better than I can even describe and it's gorgeous.

Cinnamon Sugar Cocoa Butter Handmade Natural Soap
This soap is made with cinnamon sugar fragrance oil. It smells just like cinnamon and sugar, but not too sweet. Too sweet = bad news in my aromaland. I've added tons and tons and tons of cocoa butter to the base of this bar. To top it off, I've enriched with shea butter, sweet almond oil and vegetable glycerin for more moisturizing goodness. It's a very rich bar of soap and will leave you feeling silky smooth.
This would definitely be a bar of soap that I'd wash my hair with too. I use almost all of my plain (meaning no added herbs and stuff) as shampoo bars. Ah…
PRISON STRIPES Handcrafted Anise Soap
Anise with Midnight Australian Black Clay
This is my Folsom Prison Blues salute!
Do you like the smell of black licorice? Well that’s exactly what anise oil smells like. It's used to make candies and liquors... These are a few of my favorite things!
Made with natural oils, butters, clay and essential oils this is a very nice bar of soap. The black stripes in this soap are loaded with Australian Midnight Black Clay, which is said to have high iron and oxygen properties and nourishing to the skin.
To the white stripes I've added mango butter and lanolin. Mango butter is famous for many, many reasons. People have said it to be healing, good for wrinkles, and even creates a nice shave! You can read more about the wonderful benefits of mango butter here: www.botanical.com/products/learn/butter/mango.html
Lanolin is made from sheep wool. It's a hypoallergenic and bacteriostatic. It’s also said to be good for shaving as well. Wikipedia has a short, informative read on lanolin if you're got a couple of minutes: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanolin
::Ingredients::

Are you pregnant? Congratulations! But please don't use anise oil when you are pregnant. It's bad.
Maybe you are wondering if essential oils are right for you. Please use your best wise judgment and research essential oils, their properties, effects, benefits and cautions when using them. There's a great wealth of information online and it's just a click away :-)
