Hello friends!! Sorry I've been away so long! Dealing with some personal stuff, but hopefully back here for a long while!! A shot of beautiful Hampton Beach, New Hampshire during Christmas week!! This series is "straight out of the camera" shots!! Hope you like!!

34027 arrives into Hampton Loade with a service from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway. The Locomotive was repainted into a unique purple livery to celebrate the Queen's jubilee in 2022 before she passed away towards the end of the year. The loco is now being repainted into another unique 'black' livery
The castle has undergone several stages of both renovation and enlargement. This is the south side and I assume part of the 1830-50 changes.
Had a weekend in London and visited Hampton court home of king henry vlll , the light wasn't quite right to get a shot of the front of the palace so opted for a different view

A spot of bother with the motor meant a trip to the car doctor this morning, but not as bad as feared and a couple of hours hanging around by Hampton Court is no inconvenience

i tried to simulate the x-pro effect here. what do you think, maya? :) i think you can make it even more x-pro like if you slide the color balance over to the cyan side, but i chose not to.
One of the strangest fireplaces I've ever seen, in the room that also has at least two knights in armour, a stuffed wildebeest or similar stuck halfway through the wall, and the leaping horse in the next photo. Given the whimsical nature of those, an ordinary fireplace would be very dull, and this marble one would be ordinary enough were it not for the two rounded columns in the middle. They seem more reminiscent of ammunition shells than classical columns.
This is Walmart Supercenter #5922, located at 546 First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. On this site, there was formerly a Super Kmart that closed in 2015.
A quick pic of the Hampton Harbor Bridge here in New Hampshire at 0430 am before fly fishing a strong rip that forms here on the incoming tide that's been good to me in the past.....
