Those moments that make you feel at peace. The stillness, the ducks slowly making their way across the pond.
This is why we get up early in the morning. I sometimes make up excuses to stay in bed and then regret it later.
Set your alarm, grab your gear and get out there shooting.

2) The Town Mark - The Tudor Rose indicates that the item was assayed in Sheffield, England.
3) The Date Letter - The letter, along with the other two symbols, indicates that the assay was performed in 1987.

Hallmark Farm - Warrior, Alabama. Photographed through the passenger-side window of a moving car. Having no leaves on the tree in front of the barn was nice. Happy Fence Friday.
The Headquarters of Hallmark Cards. Sunsets are my favorite part of the day. This capture has a little bit of everything that I love about photography. Sunsets, architecture, reflections, and water. The Liberty Memorial in the background is an added bonus.

Green screen picture, that really isn't even necessary anymore. Mostly Photoshop with some light touches of AI, (the fireplace , books, plants.) Sorry for the low-res. I couldn't find a decent backdrop in HD. Doesn't look like much but took a long time. Sometimes it goes like that. ☻
The group's theme is 'Brands and Logos.'
This is a 2"x2" cardboard tag on a Hallmark tea towel that I got from my sister recently. I removed the tag this afternoon and was about to throw it away when I thought of the theme. I used the design on the towel for additional colors.

Box Back:
"Buzz Lightyear thinks he has
the situation well in hand,
but sometimes he has trouble
getting through to Star Command.
His mission is a tough one,
even for a brave Space Ranger-
to fight the evil Zurg
and guard the galaxy from danger.
He has a group of loyal friends
who share a special bond,
and their adventures take them
to infinity -- and beyond!
To hear Buzz's lasers in action, press the red Laser Activation Device on his chest."
The always photogenic Buzz Lightyear!

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Brands and logos". The silver hallmark is form of branding that is very old; this one dates from the early twentieth century.
Bert bought it for me at a local newspaper store.
It says: "hello, a small message" on the outside and "for you" on the inside.
Detail of Marlow House, one of the 15 blocks in the Hallfield Estate, a mid-century housing estate in Paddington.
Initially planned by Tecton architects under Berthold Lubetkin and then designed by architect Denys Lasdun following the closure of the Tecton partnership. The estate was completed in 1955. It is listed Grade II by Historic England.
I'm not one for these Hallmark moments--those perfectly polished slices of life that make us laugh, cry, and roll our eyes all at the same time. This is the best I got. Happy Valentines Day everyone.

A recent addition to the Hallmark fleet is Wright Streetlite DF B37F SK18TLU seen in Walton-on-Thames in September 2018. It is one of 10 new Streetlites (6 WF & 4 DF) for Hallmark's Surrey services including the 458 Staines to Kingston.
Cate presents another item I bought at the Doll Convention in Wiesbaden yesterday – a Christmas Ornament Doll Case by Hallmark.
It was a busy day of rail replacement buses passing through Staines upon Thames today (27/02/2021) with 20 departures an hour heading for Hounslow, Windsor & Eton, Weybridge and Ascot.
There were 17 operators out and about which between them managed to put on a show of 37 buses to keep me busy! And it was lovely and sunny too!!
A bit of rail replacement today (19/03/2023) and I popped over to Staines-upon-Thames as it's pretty much all deckers covering Hounslow-Ascot and Hounslow-Windsor & Eton. Single deckers cover the less frequent Hounslow-Woking service.

Seen on route 458 on Laleham Road, Staines.
When Hallmark took on its routes contracted to Surrey County Council in 2017, they originally used a mix of Scanias and Volvo Wrights from Bristol to operate their 458 and 555 services. Now, the routes are run by a fleet of newer Streetlites.
