For the last two months, I swear we had rain almost every single day. But the kind that comes and goes and doesn't mess your day. Lately it's been just falling in the afternoon, screwing up a few of Ouzo's play afternoons.
I took this yesterday, soon after is stopped raining. Ouzo's wet because he ran through the waist high weeds on the field where we play. He loves the high grass, he jumps and boings through it like a springer or a goat. I tend to think goat is more appropriate.
a gate in the middle of a grassy field, a picture, by Ian Fairweather, flickr, walking into a deep dark florest, contre jour, grazing, late summer evening, a green, viewed from bellow, evening!! in the forest, ox, halfway through, shaft of light, halfing, seen from afar

Phew...I nearly missed this deadline..mid summer...now that would have been a shame! Thanks for the reminder by text Graham (Cosper Wosper)..what a good mate you be!
So...Charlie and i head off to King's Cliff wood to get out of the wind and we had a wail of a time. We played ball in the stream, scratched, sniffed, rolled in smelly things and played hide and seek...and so did Charlie!!
:@)
So far, in all this traveling I hadn't managed a hotel bed jump, so I figured I'd rectify the situation.
Also, jumping for the fact that I'm halfway through 365! Well, technically I'm one day short but since there's no 187.5 we'll call this the halfway mark.

jasmine dog and i took some long walks today - through a forest and then along a beach. there were gobs of these little yellow flowers under the forest trees, speckled with the occasional purple renegades. i enjoyed restricting myself to only the 50mm/1.8 lens for the dslr all weekend, resulting in some unexpected surprises.
Today marks the halfway point. I've already seen one other shot on the same theme; I'm expecting quite a few had the same idea. Personally, I thought of this shot about 10 days ago.
It's amazing to me how many scratches and bits of fluff become apparent when you light with a flash a glass that you thought was completely clean and free of scratches. It looks filthy, but it was freshly washed and dried with a glass-drying cloth immeadiately before being filled with a measured half pint - I know it doesn't look "half full" but it really is! - of freshly drawn water. Lit from above with a snooted Nissin Di866 Professional, the snoot being homemade from a brochure lined with white paper. The backdrop is a folder.
Day 183:
I was feeling more creative than was needed for today’s photo, unfortunately I
have mixed feelings about this photo.
I took these pair of red glasses from our friends Wii Kabookii game and some
stock computer code and made up this little photo.
It’s supposed to be that last image retrieved from that of a dying Terminator.
I have been watching The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which is the reason I
decided to do this photo. Took about 10 minutes to think it up and produce
this photo. Not bad really for the little time spent.
Oh and today is the official halfway point of the project. :D
This is the first time that Daughter #1 has "visited". That is, she lives somewhere else that isn't college or school and she has a life there. It's been lovely to see her, lovely to get to know her boyfriend, and lovely to see the two of them tearing around Chicago sightseeing.
#day183 #183of366 #halfwaythrough2020 A day spent at home with a long time in the garden, picking some peas, broad beans, blueberries, mulberries, and gooseberries - all in small amounts. Gooseberry crumble was good. Short walk in the evening. Got a few shots but I think this was the best of them.
This is the clock Mickey Mouse has on his wall :oP
I took the photo for this at noon on day 183 so I think that means it was day 182 and a half....which means I am half way through the 365 thingy. Woo Hoo. Only 6 more months of ideas to wrack my brain for. Expect much more clones :oP
wow just realised that I am half way through this! As you may be able to tell I haven't had much enthusiasm for photography in the last week or 2, I am finding it hard to get inspired. We are planning on getting out and about on the weekend, hopefully that will help!
This is near our kitchen window which has a charming view of the wall of the house next door which is about a meter away... but the clouds meant that it was nice & diffused this morning!
so when I randomly decide on a Sunday afternoon to make a bunch of friendship bracelets, I get instant gratification. (Full story and links to instructions on the blog.)
Six months of The Daily Show - Second Season completed. I've missed two shots, but added some 'placeholders'. I'm glad I took a six month break from daily shooting; I was getting frustrated and burned out.
I find I've been using my point-n-shoot a lot more; it's a pain to haul around the 5D; it's like a kid, you don't want to leave it unattended or along in your car, if you have to go to a store - not when you have that much invested.
I love my li'l P&S; it has a lot of flexibility and pretty good image quality. My favorite picture of the first six months was taken with my Fuji.
I chose this over all the other shots because the light reminded me of Rembrandt's works. The fact that I was shooting into an old mirror just adds to the feeling.
I am often asked since when I keep an illustrated diary – since 2001. So this is number 20, which is half full (Or half empty?). Half a year has already passed again! I use the Moleskine Pocket Diary, which is 9x12 cm (3.54 x 4.7 inch) in size and has one page for each day. The paper is actually unsuitable for watercolor paints, but surprisingly, watercolor paints work pretty well despite the poor paper quality.
.
Thanks to all of you for all the nice comments, motivation and inspiration! A special thanks to you, @gris030.de - your motivating livestreams with the incredibly humorous grisgang are just awesome.

Half way through the 52 weeks of my 2009 self portrait project. We put together this new futon today to go in our newly decorated blue room. Currently reading Molly Wizenberg's A Homemade Life, and loving it! I have realised that I only have 5 days to prepare and pack for my Open Uni residential school in Edinburgh next weekend.
Feeling slightly unprepared.
for my halfway point in Handmade52, I made a whole bunch of friendship bracelets. And was sent back in time. (Full story and links to instructions on the blog.)
