During this halftime game, the derbygirls (and the dude) did an exercise where the last member standing was the winner. The guy had a microphone, providing the crowd with play-by-plays from the rink.
High school football in Texas was king long before “Friday Night Lights” appeared on the popular national scene. So what better way to spend an October Friday night in Grapevine, TX than a visit to Mustang-Panther Stadium?
Unfortunately for the ‘Stangs, their opponent on this night was a Euless Trinity Trojan team ranked #3 in the nation and #1 in Texas. There was no quit in the Grapevine squad, but Trinity just had more horsepower than the Mustangs.

Park Hill South's marching band prepare for its halftime show. By this time it had gotten really chilly and my fingers were getting numb, so I went on home. I'll have to remember to bring gloves next time, along with a heavier coat.
