the only regret about this session i have is that i didnt get enough different angles... i shouldve focused more on that...
By now the boys had began to show off to me and my friend and our cameras. This kid especially wanted to pull big tricks for us. He decided that a simple boardflip wasn't cool unless an 8 foot drop was involved, so he practiced ollies off an 8 foot half pipe until he could land it, and then added the kickflip. He was a lot of fun and a good sport.
I know, the head is covered by the net, but I hadn't the opportunity to get a better shot because the try after he took a very hard slam

On this picture you can see how a lava tube is formed:
Lava tubes are natural conduits through which lava travels beneath the surface of a lava flow. Tubes form by crusting over of lava channels. When the supply of lava stops at the end of an eruption or lava is diverted elsewhere, lava in the tube system drains downslope and leaves partially empty conduits beneath the ground. However in this case the flow was not overcrusted therefore the remaining lava flow showed only a "lava halfpipe". The ceiling of the tube is missing. In the background of the picture you can see the smoking "South East Crater" of Mount Etna.

Flair: Both rider and bike do a backflip combined with a 180, to land facing back down the ramp. Usually performed on a quarter pipe. In this photo Josh Cox
