Okay, so it's true that the self-timer doesn't quite give me time to get in position, but it's frustrating that my right shoulder still doesn't like to integrate, 7 or 8 years after injury.

Preparation For Full Arm Balance

Half Handstand : Ardha Adho Mukha Vrksasana

 

1. Benefits : Stimulates the Circulatory, Respiratory, Skeletal and Muscular Systems. Strengthens the shoulders, upper body and wrists. Builds upper-body strength in general.

 

2. Benefits: Prepares the body and mind for Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand Pose). Helps to develop wrist, arm and shoulder strength.

 

3. Therapeutic Benefits : Energizes the entire body, builds self-confidence and dispells fear. Brings joy and overrides lethargy.

Caution: If you suffer from wrist injury, high blood pressure or heart condition. Inversions are not recommended to practice during menstruation.
