Photographs from the first Hardy Half Marathon which started from Dorchester Rugby Club. The route went through beautiful Dorset countryside including the land around Hardy's Monument. The event was organised by Dorchester RIOT Running Club, Dorchester Rugby Club, Dorchester Lions Club and Casterbridge Rotary Club. Keep 106 Local radion did the commentary. It was sponsored by Parkers Estate Agents, NFU Mutual (Dorchester), The Dorset Brewing Company and the National Grid. All profits went to local charities, the main charity being the Farming Community Network. All money from the donated cake stall went to Mosaic Family Support.
