My Radio does a passable impersonation of HAL 9000 late at night. I reached for the dial and a soft voice said "Rhab what are you doing". I ignored it and switched it off.
Hawaiian Airlines carrying the Oakland Raiders to CVG for the Bengals Game. Definite rarity in CVG! HAL 763.
This is a slightly inebriated Hal Jordan trying to pick up Princess Iolande of Betrassus. Iolande's hair is supposed to be black, but I need a better dye for my Barbiehair ebfore I'll risk it.
2010/01/05: Reflections draw the eye. Find a pool, puddle, or other body of still water and make a photo of a reflected subject today. #ds51
I struggled with this today. Outside everything is frozen and I couldn't generate a proper reflection inside. Never did this on purpose before. I gave it one last chance in the evening and I got something I think is OK. It's a reflection of HAL 9000 when he first appears in the movie. You can just see the door opening and Dave's hand is already visible. I put a jug of water (filed right to the top) in front of my iMac to get the reflection.
The next image is much nicer, but it's not really a water reflection, but it get's pretty close...
