I have this annoying habit of drawing Green Lantern however the hell I want. Every time. PS: i suck at colors. Colourists let me know if you want a b&w to work your magic on it ;)

I used the external Vivitar Auto Thyristor 225 hot shoe flash with warming gel.
This film tends to have a green cast when I have used it in the past so to minimize the effects of it this time I put a pink filter on the lens.

According to Hal it’s the variety - traveling to different locations and interacting with new people. “Everything is new each day,” Hal says.
When he started with the Red Cross 16 years ago, Hal drove the trucks that carry equipment to mobile blood donation clinics. The Red Cross trained him to become a Phlebotomist and these days he draws blood from donors at mobile blood drives, like this one at St. Mary’s Church in Los Gatos.

Because I am using scraps I am running out of fabric already! I am waiting on about 4 parcels of fabric and had hoped at least one would arrive today so I could carry on. So I may grind to a halt!
Ignore the ugly basting threads
A commission for a civic guard portrait was rarely granted to a painter from outside the city. Quite exceptionally, Frans Hals – from Haarlem – was asked to paint this group portrait. However, he soon found himself at odds with the guardsmen, and the Amsterdam painter Pieter Codde had to step in to finish the seven figures on the right. Known for his small-scale, very smoothly and finely executed works, Codde nevertheless imitated Hals’s loose style as best he could.
This part was finished by Pieter Codde.
